The Firm is currently recruiting for an IP&amp;T Docket Specialist, Patent Docket.

Responsibilities
<ul><li>Docket incoming postal and electronic foreign and domestic patent mail from the USPTO and foreign associates.</li>
<li>De-docket action items from the docket system.</li>
<li>Update critical information in the patent docketing database daily as indicated by attorney, paralegal and legal administrative assistant instructions.</li>
<li>Create new patent records within the docketing software system and resolve any discrepancies within the new business intake system and the docketing software system.</li>
<li>Generate basic docket reports and queries as requested by attorneys, paralegals and legal administrative assistants.</li>
<li>Handle all inquiries from attorneys, paralegals and legal administrative assistants in a timely and efficient manner.</li>
<li>Assist with developing and documenting patent docketing business processes.</li>
<li>Assist the IP&amp;T Docket Manager, Patent Docket with special projects/requests as needed.</li>
<li>Other duties as assigned to fully meet the requirements of the position.</li>
</ul>Experience &amp; Qualifications
<ul><li>Experience utilizing intellectual property docketing software; experience using Inprotech highly desirable</li>
<li>Minimum 2 years direct patent docketing experience</li>
<li>Proficient with Microsoft Office suite applications including Outlook, Excel and Word</li>
<li>Strong attention to detail and ability to work under pressure</li>
<li>Excellent communication skills</li>
<li>Strong working knowledge of domestic and international patent processes and laws as they pertain to docketing</li>
<li>Bachelor&rsquo;s Degree in Business or related field, or equivalent experience</li>
</ul>
Salary 
Chicago Only DOE: $75,000 - $90,000

The Role 
We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Associate with excellent experience in general commercial real estate transactional work for our UAE Real Estate team. The role involves handling a diverse array of real estate transactions, encompassing both local initiatives within the UAE and KSA and support for the global clientele of the firm. Our commitment is to provide a client-centric, responsive service for prominent clients who demand superior quality, value, and exceptional work. We expect our legal professionals to be sector specialists, proactive, and commercially astute. This is an excellent opportunity for a self-motivated lawyer looking to work on high-value and complex real estate projects and establish themselves as a trusted adviser within an award-winning international team. 

Required experience, skills, and attributes 

<ul>
<li>Experience of advising clients on UAE real estate transactions and developments.</li>
<li>Excellent drafting skills and knowledge and application of UAE real estate laws and practice.</li>
<li>Experience in investment-based disposals and acquisitions, including corporate share acquisitions.</li>
<li>Collaborating with a project team involving construction, finance, corporate, and planning counterparts both locally and internationally.</li>
<li>Project managing real estate transactions from start to end.</li>
<li>Drafting, reviewing, and negotiating commercial real estate documents such as sale/purchase contracts, transfers, strata documents, leases and development agreements.</li>
<li>Leading real estate due diligence requirements and managing junior lawyers.</li>
<li>Ability to manage complex real estate transactions from start to end.</li>
<li>Experience of advising on real estate transactions and developments in KSA is advantageous.</li>
<li>Superior attention to detail with a can-do and collaborative attitude towards work.</li>
<li>Responsive and client centric approach to work.</li></ul>
