The candidate will be responsible for diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining heavy vehicles and equipment to ensure optimal performance and minimal downtime.Key Responsibilities<ul><li>Diagnose mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical issues in heavy vehicles and equipment (diesel &amp; petrol engines).</li><li>Perform preventive maintenance, overhauls, and major/minor repairs.</li><li>Inspect engines, transmissions, braking systems, steering, suspension, and fuel systems.</li><li>Troubleshoot faults using diagnostic tools and technical manuals.</li><li>Replace or repair defective parts and components efficiently.</li><li>Ensure all work complies with safety standards and manufacturer specifications.</li><li>Maintain accurate service and maintenance records.</li><li>Coordinate with supervisors and operations teams to prioritize repairs and reduce downtime.</li><li>Support breakdown recovery and emergency repairs when required.</li></ul>Requirements &amp; Qualifications<ul><li>ITI / Diploma in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent certification.</li><li>5&ndash;7 years of hands-on experience as a Heavy Mechanic in the GCC.</li><li>Strong knowledge of diesel and petrol engines used in heavy vehicles/equipment.</li><li>Experience with construction machinery, trucks, buses, or similar heavy assets.</li><li>Ability to read technical drawings, manuals, and diagnostic reports.</li><li>Good troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.</li><li>Willingness and ability to relocate to Oman.</li><li>Basic English communication skills (Arabic is an advantage).</li></ul>Preferred Skills<ul><li>Experience with brands such as Caterpillar, Volvo, Komatsu, MAN, Mercedes, Scania, etc.</li><li>Familiarity with preventive maintenance systems and workshop best practices.</li><li>Ability to work independently and as part of a team under pressure.</li></ul>Benefits<ul><li>Competitive salary based on experience and skills</li><li>Accommodation and transportation (as per company policy)</li><li>Medical insurance</li><li>Annual leave and other benefits as per Oman labor law</li></ul>Job Type: Full-timePay: AED4,000.00 - AED6,000.00 per monthApplication Question(s):<ul><li>Will you be able to relocate to Oman?</li></ul>Experience:<ul><li>GCC: 5 years (Required)</li><li>Heavy Mechanic (Diesel / Petrol): 5 years (Required)</li></ul>
