We are looking for an Office Specialist 2 to join the Oregon Department of Administrative Services (DAS). This role helps keep daily operations running smoothly by providing administrative support across payroll, accounting, and financial services teams.

What You Will Do
In this role, you will:<ul><li>
Provide administrative support to Payroll, Accounts Payable/Receivable, and Accounting/Budget teams</li><li>
Process employment verifications, payment requests, purchasing card tasks, and other financial support activities</li><li>
Maintain electronic and paper records in compliance with records retention requirements</li><li>
Scan, organize, label, and prepare documents for staff access and use</li><li>
Update internal and external websites, organizational charts, and office resources</li><li>
Coordinate onboarding activities, equipment requests, user access updates, and workspace needs</li><li>
Prepare documents, enter data, schedule meetings, and support internal communications</li><li>
Serve as backup receptionist and assist with mail, shipping, and office logistics</li></ul>
What We Are Looking For
Minimum Qualifications:
Two years of general clerical experience that includes keyboarding, word processing, or other experience generating documents;
OR
An associate degree in any field;
OR
An equivalent combination of education and experience.

Additional Details<ul><li>
This recruitment is for one permanent, full-time, SEIU-represented Office Specialist 2 position, and may be used to fill future vacancies.</li><li><ul><li>The salary listed is the non-PERS qualifying salary range. If the successful candidate is PERS qualifying, the salary range will reflect the additional 6.95%.</li></ul></li><li>
