Under direction of a Supervising Insurance Compliance Officer, the Associate Insurance Compliance Officer conducts more complex and varied field claims examinations of property &amp; casualty or life &amp; health insurers to protect the insurance consumer from unfair claims settlement practices and to ensure licensees comply with California insurance law.<br>

The position is responsible for making or participating in governmental decisions that may potentially have a material effect on personal financial interests. It identifies the critical factors required in job success for this CEA position. Professional experience applying Actuarial Standards of Practice of the American Academy of Actuaries.</li><li>

Possession of the Examination Qualifications requirements does not assure a place on the eligible list.
