Summary
A Business Analyst is a client facing role that will orchestrate solution implementations leveraging core Business Analysis skills, domain, and functional understanding in coordination the entire team. He/ She will first understand the solution, tools, technology landscape, architectural of the solution to understand the dataflows, user roles, business features/ needs in scope, etc. She/ He will then perform the activity of planning his/her activities, reviewing the plan, task breakdown, scheduling, and detailing the outcomes from each. He/ She will ensure relevant and latest updates in the insurance industry for geography relevant to the allocated project/ client are known to him/ her and they are utilized during implementation.﻿ 
﻿
Key Responsibilities:<ul><li>
Engage with Insurance IT, Business teams and all the internal and external stakeholders involved in implementations and rollout to determine business requirements, and to ensure the development is in line with the requirements and scope.</li><li>
Configure/ provide configuration of rating logic and business rules along with patterns of business logic</li><li>
Document and articulate all functional, UI, and product requirements using standard methods</li><li>
Understand the offerings and Products that will be implemented; understand what is currently available, supported and not supported and present the same</li><li>
Perform functional testing of the solution to troubleshoot and identify the issues quickly, report to respective stakeholders and track to closure during development and before deployment.</li><li>
Demonstrate the solution, discuss scope changes to determine the impact analysis; engage with UAT users to assist in completing the UAT</li><li>
Provide detailed walkthroughs of the system requirement, closely work with technical associates on project development activities, review test cases and assist in closing QA cycle, and provide knowledge transfer to other team members.</li><li>
Provide estimates for the activities; as part of change management inform the criticality, impact, risks, and priority. Provide timely walkthroughs of the work items &ndash; documentation, configured products, solution; regularly update the complex and challenging scenarios</li></ul>

Experience &ndash; 4 to 10 years</li><li>
Experience and knowledge of Life / P&amp;C Insurance domain and Products like Life Insurance or Commercial Lines Indian market</li><li>
Experience in implementing software solutions using established Insurance software products or customized software solutions</li><li>
Experience in implementing various business features and transactions: Policy Administration, Rating, Underwriting, Claims, Reinsurance of various Life / General insurance products</li></ul>

ABOUT THE ROLE
We are seeking a Database Administrator / Data Engineer with strong experience in migrating on-premises databases to AWS. The candidate will support data platform modernization by assisting with database migration, Python-based data processing, and building AWS data pipelines supporting applications using Amazon RDS and DynamoDB.
Responsible for supporting SQL Server/Cloud BAU operations. supports production stability and performance monitoring by building operational metrics and dashboards for database performance. Develop data quality and performance dashboards to monitor system efficiency and ensure reliable data for reporting and analytics.
The role requires hands-on experience in database migration, data modeling, and AWS data services.
Must Have Skills (Screening Required)
 1. On-Prem SQL server to AWS and snowflake source Data Migration experience<ul><li>Experience migration/archiving databases from on-premises environments to AWS</li><li>Experience with AWS Database Migration Service(DMS) or similar tools preferred</li></ul>
 2. AWS Database Technologies<ul><li>Strong experience with:</li><li>Amazon RDS</li><li>DynamoDB</li></ul>
 3. Python for Data Processing<ul><li>Experience developing Python scripts for data creation, transformation, and data loads</li></ul>
