Essential Functions:</b></div><ul><li>
Rooming patients and documents all vital information.</li><li>
Scribing information for the dermatologist.</li><li>
Providing post op wound care to patients.</li><li>
Suture removal.</li><li>
Cleaning and stocking the exam rooms.</li><li>
Scheduling patient appointments.</li></ul><div></div><div><b><br>
Assisting the dermatologist with procedures such as:</b></div><ul><li>
Surgical photographs.</li><li>
Biopsies &ndash; punch, DIF and shave.</li><li>
Excisions.</li><li>
Electrodessication and curettage.</li><li>
I&amp;D.</li><li>
Mohs micrographic skin cancer surgery.</li><li>
Phototherapy.</li><li>
Injections.</li><li>
Koh preps.</li><li>
Trichograms.</li><li>
Patch testing.</li></ul><div></div><div><b><br>
Education</b>:</div><ul><li>
High School Diploma or equivalent.</li><li>
Post High School education in a medical support field: Certified Medical Assistant is required.</li></ul><div></div><div><b><br>
Knowledge, Skills &amp; Abilities:</b></div><ul><li>
1-2 years of recent experience in a medical office in a similar capacity is preferred.</li><li>
Must keep current on all state certifications, licenses and/or registrations to continue employment.</li><li>
Must possess organizational and communication skills.</li><li>
Ability to work effectively and cooperatively with staff, clients, and visitors.</li><li>
Ability to multi-task, prioritize appropriately, and work well both individually and as part of a team.</li></ul></div>
