Responsibilities:
<div>
The Scribe&rsquo;s primary role is to support patient flow by assisting the Physician with documentation as it relates to the patient&rsquo;s medical record, tracking of results, and documentation of the defined plan of care on patients of all age groups. Works collaboratively to support other healthcare providers to create a professional environment of care.</div>
Qualifications:

EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE, TRAINING</b></div><br>
<div></div><ul><li>
High school diploma or equivalency.</li><li>
Successful completion of Medical Terminology and college level Anatomy &amp; Physiology course preferred. In lieu of a course, candidate may demonstrate proficiency in medical terminology gained through prior work or academic experience.</li><li>
Two (2) or more years' experience as a medical scribe in a hospital setting or in a general clinic preferred.</li><li>
Proficient in computer skills and data entry.</li><li>
Ability to transcribe notes on a tablet.</li><li>
Ability to read, write and communicate effectively and legibly in English.</li><li>
Ability to work and ability to handle stress well including the ability to prioritize tasks.</li></ul><div>

Desert Valley Medical Group offers competitive compensation and a comprehensive benefits package that provides employees the flexibility to tailor benefits according to their individual needs. Our Total Rewards package includes, but is not limited to, paid time off, a 401K retirement plan, medical, dental, and vision coverage, tuition reimbursement, and many more voluntary benefit options. A reasonable compensation estimate for this role, which includes estimated wages, benefits, and other forms of compensation, is $21.00 to $23.13. The exact starting compensation to be offered will be determined at the time of selecting an applicant for hire, in which a wide range of factors will be considered, including but not limited to, skillset, years of applicable experience, education, credentials and licensure.</p>
