Hours/Week 20Searching for a board-eligible or board-certified psychiatrist to provide on-site services on a part-time basis (16-20 hours/week) to the male incarcerated population. Schedule is flexible based on needs of facility, but core hours are typically between 7:00 a.m. and 5:00 p.m. Selected psychiatrist will meet with 12-16 patients per 8-hour shift. Caseload is 75-100 patients. Assignment will last at least 6 months if selected psychiatrist is a good fit. Assignment could lead to permanent hire.<ul><li>Working collaboratively with intra and interdepartmental staff to administer treatment for behavioural health patients utilizing nationally recognized treatment standards and documenting utilizing an electronic health record system</li><li>Conducting exams and writing evaluations and reports</li><li>Ordering and interpreting diagnostic testing</li><li>Managing medication</li><li>Making referrals for specialized care or treatment</li><li>Performing duties in accordance with scope of practice, ODRC policies, procedures, protocols, and related American Correctional Association standards</li><li>Participating in continuous quality improvement meetings and activities, including peer reviews</li><li>Engaging in collaborative agreements, as needed</li></ul>Job Type: Part-timePay: $194.00 - $226.00 per hourExpected hours: 16 &ndash; 20 per weekApplication Question(s):<ul><li>Kindly mention your Primary email ID</li><li>Mention your next availability to connect for a quick call</li><li>Are you comfortable working in correction openings at this time?</li></ul>Work Location: In person
