Developmental Concepts, Inc., is seeking qualified interventionists who are looking to fill a full-time in school, home and community settings. The ideal candidate will have a bachelor&rsquo;s degree in a Human Studies Field (Psychology, Sociology, Social Work, Education, etc.) and has demonstrated a passion for working with children with medical and behavioral needs.Position Responsibilities:<ul><li>Maintains knowledge of individuals, their health and medical needs, and their service plans.</li><li>Provide intervention to meet the needs of the participant by developing adaptive skills for all and addressing maladaptive behaviors for participants within the home, school or community.</li><li>Maintain communication and collaboration with participants families, physicians and officials regarding therapeutic interventions of each individual assigned to the caseload.</li><li>Review weekly paperwork regarding assigned caseload, verification of accuracy.</li><li>Collect data/document service requirements on a daily basis.</li><li>Evaluate progress of each individual participant and implement new interventions as necessary to meet individuals needs based on current skill level.</li><li>Understand, implement and follow rules set forth by Idaho Department of Health and Welfare.</li><li>Must complete annual training requirements, as determined by DCI&rsquo;s Policies and Procedures.</li></ul>Experience and Education Requirements:<ul><li>Bachelor&rsquo;s (BA/BS) in a Human Services Field (i.e. health care, social services, education, behavioral science, or counseling) from a nationally accredited college or university is required.</li><li>One year of supervised experience working with children with developmental disabilities is required. Experience can be gained through paid employment or university practicum experience or internship(preferred).</li><li>Complete a 40 hour Registered Behavior Technician Course (RBT).</li></ul>Additional Qualifications:<ul><li>Must pass a pre-employment criminal history background check.</li><li>Must provide or obtain CPR/First Aid certification upon hire.</li><li>Must have reliable transportation, valid driver&rsquo;s license and car insurance.</li></ul>Benefits:<ul><li>Competitive Health Insurance</li><li>Mileage Reimbursement</li><li>Holiday pay, Paid time off, and Personal leave</li><li>Opportunity for a flexible schedule.</li></ul>To learn more about us visit us at www.dciidaho.comTo apply please submit your contact information with your resume in order for us to respond to you.
