Overview We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Barista to join our team in creating exceptional coffee experiences for our customers. As a Barista, you will play a vital role in delivering high-quality beverages and providing outstanding customer service in a fast-paced caf&eacute; environment. Your knowledge of coffee and food preparation, along with your ability to manage time effectively, will contribute to the overall success of our establishment.Responsibilities<ul><li>Prepare and serve a variety of coffee beverages, teas, and other menu items with precision and care.</li><li>Operate the Square POS systems for order processing and cash handling.</li><li>Maintain cleanliness and organization of the caf&eacute; area, ensuring adherence to food safety standards.</li><li>Provide excellent customer service by engaging with customers, taking orders accurately, and addressing any inquiries or concerns.</li><li>Assist in food preparation and serving, ensuring quality and presentation meet our standards.</li><li>Handle cash transactions efficiently while maintaining accurate records of sales.</li><li>Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth operations during peak hours.</li><li>Uphold the caf&eacute;'s commitment to quality and consistency in every beverage served.</li></ul>Requirements<ul><li>Basic/ simple latte art</li><li>Strong customer service skills with an emphasis on creating positive experiences for guests.</li><li>Excellent time management skills to handle multiple tasks efficiently in a busy environment.</li><li>Basic math skills for cash handling and sales transactions.</li><li>Knowledge of food safety practices and food handling procedures is essential.</li><li>Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team while also being self-motivated.</li><li>A passion for coffee and an eagerness to learn about different brewing techniques and beverage preparation.
