Job OverviewWe are seeking a detail-oriented Purchasing Assistant to join our team. The ideal candidate will assist in procurement activities, ensuring the timely acquisition of needed materials and supplies.Responsibilities<ul><li>Support the purchasing team in sourcing, negotiating, and purchasing materials</li><li>Maintain accurate records of purchases, pricing, and inventory levels</li><li>Coordinate with suppliers to ensure timely delivery of goods</li><li>Assist in the preparation of purchase orders and contracts</li><li>Monitor inventory levels and participate in inventory management activities</li><li>Collaborate with various departments to understand their purchasing needs</li></ul>Requirements<ul><li>Knowledge of procurement processes and procedures</li><li>Experience with SAP ERP or similar procurement software</li><li>Understanding of supply chain management principles</li><li>Familiarity with production planning concepts</li><li>Ability to work with e-commerce platforms for purchasing needs</li><li>Proficiency in MRP (Material Requirements Planning) systems</li><li>Strong skills in inventory management</li><li>Previous experience using SAP is a plus</li><li>Ability to negotiate and sell ideas effectively</li></ul>Job Type: Full-timePay: ₹16,000.00 - ₹20,000.00 per monthWork Location: In person
