Machine Operator (Landscape &amp; Excavation)Location: Hudson, MA (71 Parmenter Rd)Pay Range: $25.00 &ndash; $35.00 / hour (Based on experience &amp; licensing)Job Type: Full-timeJob OverviewWe are looking for a skilled Machine Operator to join our field operations team. This is not just a &quot;moving dirt&quot; role; you will be responsible for the precision execution of high-end hardscape and landscape projects. You will operate Bobcats (Skid Steers), Mini-Excavators, and other heavy machinery to prepare sites for concrete pours, retaining walls, and large-scale plantings.Key Responsibilities<ul><li>Precision Operation: Expertly operate Skid Steers (Bobcats), Mini-Excavators, and Front-end Loaders in tight residential and expansive commercial environments.</li><li>Site Preparation: Perform grading, trenching, and sub-base preparation for concrete flatwork, pavers, and drainage systems.</li><li>Equipment Maintenance: Conduct daily &quot;walk-around&quot; inspections and basic maintenance (greasing, fluid checks) to ensure machine longevity and safety.</li><li>Safety &amp; Coordination: Work closely with the Site Superintendent and laborers to ensure safe digging practices, including active monitoring of underground utility markings.</li><li>Loading &amp; Transport: Assist in loading/unloading materials and securing equipment on trailers for transport between job sites.</li></ul>Requirements<ul><li>Experience: 3+ years of experience operating heavy equipment specifically for landscape construction or site work.</li><li>Licensing: A valid Massachusetts Hoisting License (2A/1C) is highly preferred.</li><li>Technical Skill: Ability to read site plans and use laser levels to ensure accurate grading and elevations.</li><li>Physical Ability: Must be willing to jump out of the cab and assist the ground crew with manual labor when the machine is not in use.</li><li>Reliability: Valid Driver&rsquo;s License and reliable transportation to our Hudson yard or job sites.</li></ul>Job Type: Full-timePay: $25.00 - $35.00 per hourBenefits:<ul><li>Health insurance</li><li>Paid time off</li></ul>Ability to Commute:<ul><li>Hudson, MA 01749 (Required)</li></ul>Ability to Relocate:<ul><li>Hudson, MA 01749: Relocate before starting work (Required)</li></ul>Willingness to travel:<ul><li>25% (Preferred)</li></ul>Work Location: In person
