JOB DESCRIPTION
<ul>
<li>Assisting and preparing orders for loads</li>
<li>
Loading and/or unloading trucks</li>
<li>
Auditing loads to ensure product matches the order; verify for accuracy</li>
<li>
Checking loads to confirm that they are secured to trailer</li>
<li>
Assisting in planning route to ensure the most economical use of time and equipment</li>
<li>
Delivering product to various locations</li>
<li>
Picking up raw material for production</li>
<li>
Performing routine inspection and preventative maintenance on assigned equipment and notify supervisor of defects or necessary repairs</li>
<li>
Cleaning and keeping equipment in top working order</li>
<li>
Performing all duties in compliance with appropriate safety and security standards</li>
</ul>
QUALIFICATIONS/EDUCATION:
<ul>
<li>High school diploma or equivalency preferred, but not required</li>
<li>Must maintain a Class A CDL</li>
<li>Must be able to read work instructions and other work documents provided in English</li>
<li>Three (3) years of experience driving preferred but, not required</li>
<li>Possess a clean driving record</li>
<li>Ability to work without constant supervision and be self-motivated</li>
<li>Strong written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills</li>
<li>Possess a high degree of quality workmanship and be detail oriented</li>
<li>Proven time management skills with ability to work overtime as needed to meet deadlines, up to 12-hour days occasionally</li>
<li>Observes safety procedures</li>
<li>Maintains good work ethic and attendance</li>
</ul>
WORK ENVIRONMENT
<ul>
<li>Working primarily outdoors and occasionally indoors where temperatures could be hot/cold, depending on season.</li>
<li>Mandatory PPE for eyes, ears, hands, and feet to prevent exposure to hazardous materials or injury.</li>
<li>May be required to work overtime, including weekends.</li>
</ul>
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS
<ul>
<li>Lifting to 50 pounds. Standing, reaching, balancing, stretching lower extremities constantly. Frequent grasping, pinching and fine manipulation. Occasionally bending and squatting.</li>
