 Job Overview
 
 
 
 Manage and develop the assigned Field sales territory in order to maintain and grow the DHL market leadership position. Achieve individual sales targets while meeting key customer needs.
 
 
 
 Main Responsibilities

 Act as an ambassador for DHL at all times and attend to customer needs in a professional, friendly and courteous manner

 Ensure that a high level of professional rapport is developed and maintained with all customers

 Follow up on all customer enquiries and direct customer to the correct DHL department where further information is required

 Manage and develop a portfolio of prospects and existing customers through building a strong customer relationship to ensure that customers&rsquo; needs are recognized and met

 Manage all customer-related information by communication to the selling team around specific customers as well as in sales systems so that other DHL staff can access customer and territory information

 Establish customer agreements and ensure and that pricing guidelines are always applied and profitability targets for customers are met. Ensure that customers&rsquo; prices are reviewed on regular basis and whenever any discrepancy arises between actual and promised volumes a re-negotiation takes place

 Develop and implement an approach to secure competitors and prospects business in the shortest time possible. Establish Prospects pipeline to support this approach and target them accordingly
 </li>

 Exploit all new opportunities from existing and potential customers (prospects) ensuring a maximum penetration of DHL in assigned territory
 </li>
 <li>
 Develop and implement a personal sales plan and call cycle that incorporates initiatives for identifying and gaining new business and maximizes growth of existing customers to achieve the individual sales (volume and profitability) targets
 </li>
 <li>
 Monitor customer performance, loyalty and satisfaction to measure success, business fluctuation and possible business at risk. Take appropriate corrective action internally and/or with the customer

 Experience

 3-5 years experience in hard core sales

 Good understanding of the DHL Network

 To provide administrative support to the Senior Stores Supervisor in all facets of administration.

 Your Tasks:

 Maintaining the Stores and inventory in a neat, logical and easily identifiable manner

 To receive and bring into Stores (or any other appropriate location) all incoming parts and materials.

 To carry out receiving procedures for all airworthy spares as described in the company procedures.
 </li>
 <li>
 Assist in stock checking and computer-updating of inventory.
 </li>

 Packing, shipping, and documenting of all outgoing parts and materials

 The packing, shipping, and documentation of all outgoing parts and materials are to be conducted. Orders will be arranged for shipping upon receiving approval from the Senior Stores Supervisor. Additionally, coordination of the receiving and shipping of engines is required, which includes both wrapping and unwrapping.

 Issue parts in Trax from stock to the correct work order and restock unused parts as required.
 </li>
 <li>
 Ensure that all tools that are checked out and in are properly recorded in Trax
 </li>
 <li>
 Maintain a record of photographs of all shipments delivered or sent for warranty claims. Package, packing, item, and documents.
 </li>
 <li>
 In conjunction with the Senior Stores Supervisor and Logistics Manager, help to resolve any queries for quarantined items.
 </li>
 <li>
 Assist in regular stock checking and TRAX updating of all item&rsquo;s transactions.
 </li>
 <li>
 Update all the TRAX inventory control system as required.
 </li>
 <li>
 Responsible for organizing and maintaining accurate pick list to ensure efficient order fulfilment processes.
 </li>
 <li>
 Help both internal and external clients, including DHL AIR, EAT, and others.
 </li>

 Carry out Daily and Weekly Stores Inspections
 </li>
 <li>
 Assist in monitoring material shelf life and tool calibration
 </li>

 Issue engineering material against requisitions
 </li>

 Operate forklifts to load and unload incoming shipments, transport materials to and from storage areas, and position goods as needed.

 Strong understanding of global cargo insurance program structures, with experience managing fronting insurance arrangements and regional distribution networks.

 Solid knowledge of the transport and freight forwarding industry, including the sale and placement of cargo insurance solutions.

 Proven track record of driving business growth, increasing premium volumes, and expanding market share.

 Deep technical expertise in marine cargo insurance &mdash; including product design, policy clauses, pricing, and claims handling.
