Job Title: Barista/Coffee Bar Associate
Department: Operations
Reports To: Store Manager

Job Duties<ul><li>
Make and serve specialty coffee and tea beverages</li><li>
Speak and interact with both new and regular customers</li><li>
Take and fulfill coffee bar orders for customer</li><li>
Complete sales on a cash register by scanning items, itemizing and totaling customers' purchases, and accepting cash or credit card payments from customers</li><li>
Resolve customer issues and answer questions</li><li>
Maintain a clean and sanitized work station</li><li>
Follow health and safety guidelines</li><li>
Adhere to recipes and presentations for food and beverage items</li><li>
Be punctual and able to observe regular and consistent attendance</li><li>
Contribute to a positive team environment</li></ul>
Qualifications<ul><li>
One year of barista experience preferred, but we love to train those passionate about coffee &amp; customer service</li><li>
Availability to work varied hours/days as dictated by business</li><li>
A willingness to learn about our brand and our roasters</li><li>
An enthusiasm to communicate with customers and fellow Associates about current offerings and drink options</li><li>
Ability to process information/merchandise through computer system and POS register system</li><li>
Can multi-task and work well under the pressure of a busy coffee bar</li><li>
Ability to read, write and count to accurately complete all documentation</li><li>
Can move, carry or handle merchandise throughout the store</li><li>
You thrive in fast-paced environments</li><li>
You are a passionate food &amp; beverage lover with a positive attitude</li><li>
You have a strong work ethic, are reliable, and enjoy working with people</li><li>
You take pride in exceeding customer expectations</li></ul>
