<div><div><div><b>Diakon Behavioral Health Services </b>offers a range of counseling and behavioral services to children, teens, families and adult individuals. Services are provided through counseling centers in Mechanicsburg, Lewisburg, Montoursville, Williamsport, within several public-school buildings, Kennett Square, and Chester County. Specialized programs include family-based mental health services, provided in the community and in-home, addiction counseling, trauma-focused therapy and SPIN, a service designed to assist children and youths who have problematic sexual behaviors.</div>
<div></div><div><b>General Responsibilities:</b></div>
<ul><li>Develops and maintains a professional and supportive relationship with youth and their families by providing therapeutic interventions.</li>
<li>Provides individual, couple, family and/or group therapy sessions.</li>
<li>Acts as a liaison with youth, birth families, referring personnel, treatment providers, and others involved in the lives of children and youth.</li>
<li>Provides crisis management services as needed.</li>
</ul>
<div></div><div><b>Education/Training: </b>A Master&rsquo;s degree in human services required (psychology, social work, mental health counseling or related field). OMHSAS certification required.</div>
<div></div><div><b>Experience:</b> A minimum of three (3) years&rsquo; of experience in related positions normally required.</div>
<div></div><div><b>ADA: </b>Ability to sit, stand, lift, bend, reach, push, and pull items weighing up to 50 lbs.; visual and auditory skills</div>
