This role reports directly to the Founder and works closely with leadership to support financial strategy and operational decision-making.If you enjoy building financial infrastructure inside a growing company, love working with leadership on strategic decisions, and thrive in a fast-paced startup environment, this role offers real ownership and impact.What You&rsquo;ll DoFinancial Management<ul><li>Maintain accurate bookkeeping across company accounts</li><li>Prepare and manage monthly P&amp;L statements</li><li>Monitor cash flow, runway, and financial health</li><li>Build financial forecasts and scenario planning models</li><li>Assist leadership with budget planning and budget vs. actual reporting</li><li>Create financial dashboards and KPI reporting</li><li>Identify opportunities for cost optimization and efficiency</li></ul>Accounting Operations<ul><li>Manage invoicing, collections, and payment tracking</li><li>Oversee accounts payable and receivable</li><li>Reconcile bank accounts, credit cards, and financial systems</li><li>Maintain financial documentation and internal controls</li><li>Coordinate with external accountants for tax preparation</li></ul>Strategic Finance Support<ul><li>Help leadership evaluate new hires, investments, and major expenses</li><li>Support annual planning and forecasting cycles</li><li>Assist with long-term financial planning</li><li>Build financial models that support business decision-making</li><li>Assist in long term, sell-side readiness</li></ul>HR &amp; Payroll Coordination<ul><li>Manage payroll coordination</li><li>Assist with benefits administration</li><li>Support compensation planning with leadership</li><li>Track PTO, employee status, and HR systems (ADP)</li></ul>Operations &amp; Systems<ul><li>Improve financial systems, reporting, and automation</li><li>Maintain internal finance and HR processes</li><li>Coordinate budgets with department leads</li><li>Assist with vendor payments and contract management</li><li>Forecast and track total budgets for events, travel, and client work</li></ul>Qualifications<ul><li>3&ndash;6+ years experience in finance, accounting, or operations</li><li>Experience with bookkeeping and financial reporting</li><li>Comfortable managing P&amp;Ls, forecasting, and financial models</li><li>Strong attention to detail and organizational skills</li><li>Experience with accounting tools (QuickBooks, Wise, or similar)</li><li>Ability to work in a fast-paced startup environment</li><li>Experience supporting HR operations is a plus</li></ul>CPA (Preferred)<ul><li>CPA strongly favored but not required</li><li>CPA or progress toward CPA is a strong plus</li><li>Company may support CPA licensing through compensation increases or bonuses</li></ul>Work StructureFirst 90 Days &ndash; Probationary Period<ul><li>In-office Monday&ndash;Thursday</li></ul>After 90 Days (Upon Successful Review)<ul><li>Full benefits eligibility</li><li>Hybrid schedule:</li><li>Work from home Tuesday &amp; Friday</li><li>In-office Monday, Wednesday, Thursday</li></ul>Why You&rsquo;ll Love Working HereWe&rsquo;re a small team that values creativity, speed, and collaboration.
