Department: Research &amp; Development.Location: On-siteDuration: 3-4 MonthsAbout the Role:We are seeking a curious and knowledgeable rubber technologist intern to join our dynamic R&amp;D team. You will assist in the development, testing, and improvement of rubber compounds and processes. This role is ideal for someone with a strong academic background in polymer/rubber technology who is eager to apply theoretical knowledge to real-world industrial challenges.Key Responsibilities:<ul><li>Assist in formulating and compounding rubber mixes for specific product requirements.</li><li>Support the R&amp;D team in conducting physical, chemical, and mechanical tests on rubber materials (e.g., tensile strength, elongation, hardness, and ageing).</li><li>Help in analysing test data and preparing detailed reports on findings.</li><li>Contribute to projects aimed at improving product quality, performance, and cost-effectiveness.</li><li>Maintain accurate lab records and ensure compliance with safety protocols in the laboratory and pilot plant.</li></ul>Qualifications:<ul><li>Currently pursuing or recently completed a bachelor&rsquo;s/master&rsquo;s degree in rubber technology, polymer science, chemical engineering, or a closely related field.</li><li>Core academic knowledge of rubber ingredients, compounding, vulcanisation, and processing techniques (mixing, extrusion, calendering, and moulding).</li><li>Familiarity with standard testing equipment (rheometer, Mooney viscometer, universal testing machine) is a plus.</li><li>Strong analytical mindset and attention to detail.</li></ul>What We Offer:<ul><li>A hands-on learning experience in a professional industrial R&amp;D environment.</li><li>Monthly stipend.</li><li>Comprehensive Internship Completion Certificate.</li><li>A letter of recommendation &amp; reference based on performance.</li><li>Mentorship from experienced rubber technologists and engineers.</li></ul>Job Type: Internship Contract length: 3 monthsPay: ₹5,000.00 - ₹10,000.00 per monthWork Location: In person
