 Job Scope
 
 
 
 The Clinicial Research Associate will be responsible for conducting day-to-day work associated with analytical and clinical studies conducted by Luminex, A DiaSorin Company for inclusion in regulatory submissions for in vitro diagnostic devices. Planning and execution of in-house clinical studies as well as training and monitoring of external clinical sites.
 
 
 
 Key Duties And Responsibilities
 
 
 
 <ul>
 <li>
 Day-to-day &ldquo;hands on&rdquo; work associated with in-house clinical studies.
 </li>
 <li>
 Identify, qualify, initiate, monitor and close out investigational sites for clinical studies; prepare accurate and timely visit reports from all site visits; review and finalize visit reports.
 </li>
 <li>
 Ensure studies are carried out according to the study protocol, standard operating procedures (SOPs), and International Conference on Harmonization (ICH)/Good Clinical Practice (GCP) regulations and study specific manuals and procedures.
 </li>
 <li>
 Develop and maintain good working relationships with Principal Investigators and Study Staff
 </li>
 <li>
 Track and report on progress of studies including site activation, subject enrollment, and monitoring visits.
 </li>
 <li>
 Create clinical study document designs and tracking tools.
 </li>
 <li>
 Investigate queries, monitor discrepancies, and manage investigational device accountability and reconciliation processes.
 </li>
 <li>
 Monitor printed Case Report Forms (CRFs) and Electronic Data Capture (EDC)
 </li>
 <li>
 Collection and analysis of experimental data generated in-house and externally.
 </li>
 <li>
 Qualification and monitoring of external clinical sites in accordance with study protocols and applicable regulations and standards (eg. 21 CFR Part 812, GLP, CLSI, ICH)
 </li>
 <li>
 Design of experiments (with assistance of more experienced colleagues)
 </li>
 <li>
 Develop study tools and forms (eg. Enrolment logs, Data Record Forms, Case Report Forms etc.)
 </li>
 <li>
 Contribute to the writing of study protocols and reports.
 </li>
 <li>
 Assist with site contracts and budge preparation.
 </li>
 <li>
 Train and provide technical support (trouble shooting) to external sites.
 </li>
 <li>
 Coordinate and track clinical supplies shipped and used at clinical sites.
 </li>
 <li>
 Acquisition of clinical specimens for inclusion in research or clinical studies
 </li>
 <li>
 Maintenance of study documentation and data history files
 </li>
 <li>
 Contribute to the writing of SOPs, DMRs, BPRs
 </li>
 <li>
 Interact with other LMD departments and external service providers, if required (eg. Sequencing facilities, CROs)
 </li>
 <li>
 Additional Product Development &amp; Clinical tasks, as need arises.
 </li>

 Education, Experience, And Qualifications
 
 
 
 <ul>
 <li>
 Minimum B.Sc. in chemistry, biology, molecular biology or a related subject, with additional post-graduate diploma or &ge; 1 year work experience preferred but not required; OR college degree (technical subject), plus additional post-graduate diploma, plus at least 2 years work experience; OR college degree (technical subject) plus at least 3 years work experience.
 </li>

 Previous work experience with analytical or method validation studies, preferably in GLP/GMP laboratory with an understanding of documentation requirements
 </li>
 <li>

Job Scope
 
The Quality Engineer II is responsible for supporting and maintaining quality assurance activities within an In Vitro Diagnostics (IVD) manufacturing and development environment. This role ensures compliance with applicable regulatory requirements, including U.S. Food and Drug Administration regulations (21 CFR Part 820), ISO 13485, and other global standards governing medical devices and diagnostic products.
 The Quality Engineer II applies intermediate-level technical knowledge to support product lifecycle processes, including design controls, risk management, process validation, and production quality. This role partners cross-functionally with Manufacturing, R&D, Regulatory Affairs, and Supply Chain to ensure product quality and continuous improvement.
 
Duties & Responsibilites
 
Execute quality engineering tasks for manufacturing support
 
Write and review protocols (IQ, OQ, PQ, TMV)
 
Support design transfer and risk management activities
 
Lead problem-solving using root cause methodologies
 
Participate in internal audits
 
Cross train and perform other interdepartmental responsibilities as required.

Education, Experience & Qualifications
 
Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Life Sciences, or related field
 
Advanced degree in a technical field with required relevant work experience
 
3-6 years of quality assurance or manufacturing experience in relevant industry required
 
Certification in a quality discipline, such as ASQ certified Quality Engineer (CQE), Quality Auditor (CQA), Six Sigma black belt, etc.preferred
 
Training & Skills
 
Working knowledge of quality systems in IVD
 
Experience in process validation, test method validation
 
Familiarity with ISO 13485 and FDA QSR
 
Strong analytical and documentation skills
 
Travel

<li>Analyze processes, identify wastes and support countermeasures implementation aimed at increasing value and enhancing performances such as productivity, quality, cost, delivery. Set improvement priority accordingly together with Key Stakeholders and design yearly CI plan</li>
<li>Explore, know and train Operational Excellence methods and tools (VSM, Problem Solving, Hoshin Kanri, etc.) to drive sustainable improvements and eliminate wastes</li>
<li>Guide idea management for Continuous Improvement initiatives</li>
<li>Monitor and report to functional heads and Industrial Management the effectiveness of implemented changes, making adjustments as necessary to ensure long-term success</li>
<li>Analyse data and indicators to support/take decision</li>
<li>Work cross-functionally and keep constant relationship with key stakeholders ensuring proper alignment</li>
<li>Drive kaizen and Problem Solving methods</li>
<li>Ensure Daily Management System, Tier Structure, Gemba presence, Lean assessment are in place and followed</li>
<li>Guarantee Company Continuous Improvement System deployment and application</li>
<li>Act as governance body for strategy deployment</li>
<li>Manage Lean Knowledge and facilitate workshops, training, and coaching sessions to promote a culture of operational excellence and engage employees at all levels</li>

Education, Experience and Qualifications
 
Bachelor's Degree Engineering/Life Science/Economics required or
 Master's Degree Engineering/Life Science/Economics preferred
 
5+ Years proven track record in driving process improvement initiatives within manufacturing, supply chain or operational environments. Team leading skills. Experience in Life Science as a plus required

The hiring range for this position is $86,700 - $107,100 annually.
