We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Barista to join our team in creating exceptional coffee experiences for our customers. As a Barista, you will be responsible for preparing and serving a variety of beverages while maintaining a welcoming and friendly atmosphere in our caf&eacute;. You will play a key role in ensuring customer satisfaction through quality service and attention to detail.Duties<ul><li>Prepare and serve a range of coffee and tea beverages, ensuring high-quality standards.</li><li>Assist with food preparation, including pastries and light snacks, while adhering to food safety guidelines.</li><li>Maintain cleanliness and organization of the caf&eacute;, including the dining area, kitchen, and equipment.</li><li>Operate the Aloha POS system for order processing and payment handling.</li><li>Engage with customers, providing recommendations and answering questions about menu items.</li><li>Ensure compliance with food handling and safety regulations at all times.</li><li>Collaborate with team members to create a positive work environment and enhance customer experience.</li></ul>Experience<ul><li>Previous experience in the food industry or food service is preferred but not required.</li><li>Familiarity with food preparation techniques and food safety standards is an asset.</li><li>Basic math skills for handling transactions and managing orders effectively.</li><li>Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.</li><li>Strong communication skills and a friendly demeanor to engage with customers effectively.</li><li>Experience using Aloha POS or similar point-of-sale systems is a plus.</li></ul>Join us as we strive to create memorable moments through great coffee!Job Types: Full-time, Part-timePay: $17.24 - $19.50 per hourBenefits:<ul><li>401(k)</li><li>401(k) matching</li><li>Dental insurance</li><li>Employee discount</li><li>Flexible schedule</li><li>Health insurance</li><li>Paid sick time</li><li>Paid time off</li><li>Retirement plan</li></ul>People with a criminal record are encouraged to applyApplication Question(s):<ul><li>What would be your working availability if hired?
