 ABOUT THE PROJECT
 
 
 
 We are building a technology platform to transform the way small-scale farmers connect with vendors, retailers, and bulk buyers.&nbsp;
 
 
 This is an early-stage, experiment-heavy project that requires a hands-on, data-driven Product Manager to bring structure to ambiguity, validate assumptions with users, and guide us toward product-market fit.
 
 
 
 JOB SUMMARY
 
 
 
 We are looking for a Product Specialist who is equally strategic and execution-focused, deeply curious about user behavior, and skilled at translating insights from the field into product improvements. You will be responsible for leading customer discovery, running lean experiments, prioritizing features, and helping us validate hypotheses through interviews, MVPs, and user testing.
 
 
 
 JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
 
 
 <ul>
 <li>
 Design and conduct farmer and vendor interviews to uncover needs, pain points, and workflows.
 </li>
 <li>
 With initial training and support, create and refine JTBD frameworks, personas, and segmentation models based on real-world feedback.
 </li>
 <li>
 Document and synthesize insights from interviews into actionable product strategies.
 </li>
 <li>
 Plan and execute MVP experiments, A/B tests, landing pages, and survey-driven validation.
 </li>
 <li>
 Define success metrics and track results using analytics tools.
 </li>
 <li>
 Collaborate with marketing to test channels, messaging, and value propositions.
 </li>
 <li>
 Own the product roadmap and prioritization.
 </li>
 <li>
 Map out user journeys and identify the riskiest assumptions across acquisition, retention, and monetization stages.
 </li>
 <li>
 Break down big problems into smaller, testable hypotheses and structure learning loops.
 </li>
 <li>
 Define and monitor KPIs and user funnels (AAARRR framework, retention cohorts, etc.).
 </li>
 <li>
 Collaborate with the data team to build dashboards in tools like Looker Studio, GA4.
 </li>
 <li>
 Use both quantitative and qualitative data to drive product decisions.
 </li>
 <li>
 Write clear, user stories and work closely with engineering to scope features and manage sprints.
 </li>
 <li>
 Collaborate with design to ensure user-friendly and farmer-accessible interfaces (even for low-tech users).
 </li>

 QUALIFICATIONS
 
 
 <ul>
 <li>
 You&rsquo;re fluent in product discovery, lean experimentation, and iterative building.
 </li>
 <li>
 You can connect the dots between user insight, data, and business value.
 </li>
 <li>
 You balance user empathy with business impact, and you're allergic to untested assumptions.
 </li>
 <li>
 3+ years in product management, ideally in early-stage startups, marketplace, or logistics platforms.
 </li>
 <li>
 Experience in running experiments, surveys, or interviews with low-tech or rural populations is a huge plus.
 </li>
 <li>
 Familiarity with JTBD, Lean Canvas, or Blue Ocean frameworks is a plus
 </li>
 <li>
 Strong verbal and written communication skills in English.
 </li>
 <li>
 Ability to work with ambiguity, define structure, and drive execution independently.
 </li>
 <li>
 Experience in agritech, rural markets, or supply chain tech.
 </li>
 <li>
 Exposure to B2B platforms or two-sided marketplaces.
 </li>
 <li>
 Hands-on experience working with tools for experimentation or automation.
 </li>
 <li>
 Strong analytical skills and a passion for working with data and numbers to drive marketing decisions.
 </li>
