Front Desk Medical Administrative AssistantOffice located in High Point North CarolinaImmediate opening for front desk receptionist at busy Ophthalmology and Optometry practice.Receptionist: Fast-paced Ophthalmology practice seeking an individual to fill a permanent, full-time front office position.This position is responsible for checking patients In and Out, verifying insurance, patient intake, reminder calls, and managing patient records using EMR program. Duties also include answering a large call volume on telephones, scheduling and rescheduling of appointments, preparing and scanning charts, paperwork, responding to faxes, correspondence with other medical practices, documenting patient accounts and assisting front office manager/doctors.This is a fast paced environment with three providers, and we are looking for an energetic individual to join the team. The successful candidate will have outstanding telephone, secretarial, communication, attention to details, and computer skills. Must be organized, multi-task oriented, energetic and possess a positive, professional attitude.Must be friendly and enjoy working with people. Previous experience and knowledge of vision insurance plans is a plus, but not required.Applicants should familiarize themselves with our practice website prior to interview.Pay commensurate with experience.
