Job summary

DigiCert is seeking a Marketing Manager to lead go-to-market strategies for our SMB-focused cybersecurity SaaS products. You'll be joining a small, agile team operating within a larger brand&mdash;expect to wear multiple hats, get hands on with the products, and have real ownership over your work.

This is a hybrid role requiring 2 days/week in-office (lunch provided), with the flexibility and encouragement to come in more often as your schedule allows.

This role is a good fit for marketers who have:
<ul>
<li>Strong aptitude for working with technical products and technical audiences (web hosting, cybersecurity, web development, etc.)</li>
<li>Ability to build deep product/customer/market knowledge and translate that into compelling positioning and messaging.</li>
<li>Experience driving revenue/growth through digital marketing channels such as conversion rate optimization (CRO), upselling/cross-selling, email marketing/automation, search engine optimization (SEO), search engine marketing (SEM), and digital advertising (PPC).</li></ul> 


What you will do
<ul>
<li>Build a deep understanding of our products, the problems they solve, how customers use them, and how they compare to competing products.</li>
<li>Plan marketing campaigns/tactics to achieve our current goals (eg. SaaS signups).</li>
<li>Work with our creative resources (in-house and freelance) to create stand-out marketing campaigns with clear, compelling messages and engaging visuals.</li>
<li>Launch, manage, and iterate marketing campaigns to efficiently achieve their KPIs.</li>
<li>Use analytics to measure and optimize key metrics, including conversion rate, free-trial upgrade rate, retention rate, CLV, etc.</li>
<li>Work together to test and iterate new tactics to continue meeting our goals in a new world of zero-click searches, generative AI, and link-free social media feeds.</li></ul> 


What you will have
<ul>
<li>5+ years of relevant marketing experience, with an emphasis on driving measurable revenue.</li>
<li>Experience working in website technology (web hosting, web development, etc.) and/or cybersecurity&mdash;able to understand, use, and converse fluently about products in the space.</li>
<li>Relevant education (for example: bachelor's degree in marketing; industry certifications such as CXL, Hubspot, MECLABS Institute, DigitalMarketer; or other relevant professional certifications or education).</li>
<li>Experience working with several digital marketing channels such as email, SEM, digital advertising, ABM, SEO, etc.</li>
<li>Proven ability to develop and communicate marketing messages that drive conversions (product positioning, copywriting, value proposition development, etc.)</li>
<li>Experienced working with analytics tools such as Google Analytics, PowerBI, Google Looker Studio, etc.</li>
<li>Proven ability to learn technical topics and understand/communicate with highly technical audiences.</li></ul>

<li>Experience in B2B SaaS / cybersecurity / web hosting industries</li>
<li>Experience in entrepreneurial/startup environments</li>
<li>Hands-on experience related to websites, web hosting, servers, etc.</li></ul>
