Position OverviewWe are seeking a creative and detail-oriented Video Editor and Reel Creator to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a strong passion for visual storytelling, a keen eye for detail, and proficiency in video editing softwares. You will be responsible for producing high-quality video content for various platforms, including social media, websites, and marketing campaigns.Key Responsibilities<ul><li>Video Editing: Edit raw footage into polished, engaging videos that meet the project's objectives. This includes cutting and trimming footage, adding transitions, special effects, and audio elements.</li><li>Reel Creation: Develop and create short-form video content such as reels for social media platforms like Instagram, TikTok, and YouTube Shorts.</li><li>Storyboarding: Collaborate with the creative team to develop storyboards and visual concepts for videos.</li><li>Content Optimization: Ensure all video content is optimized for different platforms and devices, taking into consideration aspect ratios, resolutions, and other technical specifications.</li><li>Color Grading: Perform color correction and color grading to enhance the visual aesthetics of the videos.</li><li>Sound Editing: Edit and mix audio tracks, including voiceovers, music, and sound effects to ensure high audio quality.</li><li>Asset Management: Organize and manage video assets, ensuring that files are properly stored and easily accessible.</li><li>Feedback Incorporation: Incorporate feedback from the creative team, clients, or stakeholders to refine and perfect video projects.</li><li>Staying Updated: Keep up-to-date with the latest trends in video editing, social media, and digital marketing to ensure content remains current and engaging.</li><li>Quality Assurance: Review and quality check all video content before publishing to ensure it meets the company's standards and guidelines.</li></ul>Qualifications<ul><li>Education: Bachelor&rsquo;s degree in Film, Media Studies, Communications, or a related field preferred.</li><li>Experience: Minimum of 2 years of experience in video editing and reel creation.</li><li>Software Proficiency: Expertise in video editing software such as Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, and After Effects. Knowledge of graphic design software like Adobe Photoshop and Illustrator is a plus.</li><li>Technical Skills: Strong understanding of video formats, codecs, and compression techniques.</li><li>Creativity: Exceptional creative thinking and problem-solving skills.</li><li>Attention to Detail: Keen eye for detail and a commitment to delivering high-quality work.</li><li>Time Management: Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet tight deadlines.</li><li>Communication: Strong verbal and written communication skills.
