ABOUT THE COMPANYAidRx is a new and innovative system that provides dedicated, coordinatedcare to the long-term care community, specifically to patients residing intheir own homes.We operate as an integrated healthcare model, combining an independentLTC pharmacy, telehealth physician services (not open to the public), andremote patient care coordination. As a growing ecosystem, we areexpanding nationwide, currently operating in Pennsylvania and New Jersey.Our focus is on improving medication management, adherence, and overallpatient outcomes through coordinated, technology-driven care.JOB OVERVIEWThe Pharmacy Technician will be responsible for day-to-day pharmacyoperations including prescription processing, data entry, inventory control,customer service, and assisting pharmacists in dispensing medications.Our LTC closed-door pharmacy services long-term care patients residing intheir homes and is not open to the public.This role requires a high level of accuracy, organization, and consistency, asthe technician supports patients who rely on timely and accurate medicationmanagement.Additionally, the Pharmacy Technician will assist in maintaining a well-organized, compliant, and efficient workspace, while coordinatingprescription deliveries with our drivers and supporting overall pharmacyworkflowRESPONSIBILITIES<ul><li>Prescription intake and accurate data entry into pharmacy systems</li></ul><ul><li>Physician outreach for new prescriptions and refills, ensuring timely</li></ul>processing and follow-up<ul><li>Counting, filling, and preparing prescriptions for pharmacist</li></ul>verification with a high level of accuracy<ul><li>Picking and packing medications using the Parata system, ensuring</li></ul>correct packaging and labeling<ul><li>Maintaining the Parata machine, including stocking trays and</li></ul>canisters, cleaning, and coordinating maintenance with ParataSystems technicians<ul><li>Inventory management, including ordering, organizing, cycle</li></ul>counting, and removing expired or inactive stock<ul><li>Maintaining proper and accurate pharmacy records, including</li></ul>patient profiles, inventory logs, and required documentation<ul><li>Accepting payment for prescriptions and handling small</li></ul>transactions accurately<ul><li>Patient outreach for medication adherence, compliance, and basic</li></ul>education support<ul><li>Contacting insurance companies for patient eligibility verification,</li></ul>prior authorizations, and claim-related follow-up<ul><li>Following all applicable government regulations, including HIPAA,</li></ul>and internal pharmacy compliance standards<ul><li>Supporting prescription delivery to patient homes as needed</li></ul><ul><li>Other duties as assigned; job responsibilities may vary based on</li></ul>business and operational needsQUALIFICATIONS<ul><li>This is an in-person position. Applicants must be able to easily commute</li></ul>to our location in Huntingdon Valley, PA<ul><li>Valid Driver&rsquo;s License and reliable transportation (company vehicles are</li></ul>provided for deliveries)<ul><li>High School diploma or equivalent required</li></ul><ul><li>Certified pharmacy technician (PTCB or NCCT certification preferred)</li></ul><ul><li>Solid understanding of pharmacy operations, workflows, and procedures</li></ul><ul><li>Experience in prescription processing and accurate data entry</li></ul><ul><li>Familiarity with pharmacy software systems (QS1/PrimeCare preferred)</li></ul><ul><li>Experience using the Parata pharmacy automation system (preferred)</li></ul><ul><li>Strong attention to detail and accuracy, especially when handling prescriptions</li></ul>and patient information<ul><li>Excellent customer service skills, particularly when interacting with patients</li></ul>and caregivers<ul><li>Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, high-volume,</li></ul>and structured environment<ul><li>Strong communication and interpersonal skills</li></ul><ul><li>Problem-solving mindset with the ability to handle operational challenges</li></ul><ul><li>Able to perform light physical lifting as required</li></ul><ul><li>Reliable, consistent, and team-oriented</li></ul><ul><li>Bilingual is a plus (but not required)</li></ul>PHYSICAL DEMANDSThe physical demands described here are representative of those requiredto successfully perform the essential functions of this job:<ul><li>Ability to sit or stand for 6&ndash;8 hours per day</li></ul><ul><li>Occasional climbing, balancing, stooping, kneeling, bending, crouching,</li></ul>walking, and similar physical activity<ul><li>Ability to lift and/or move up to 50 pounds</li></ul><ul><li>Work environment consistent with standard pharmacy operations and workflow</li></ul>PROPOSED SCHEDULEMon&ndash;Fri, 9:00 AM &ndash; 5:00 PM (40 hours per week)COMPENSATION &amp; BENEFITS<ul><li>$20.00 &ndash; $24.00 per hour (negotiable based on experience)</li></ul><ul><li>Medical, Dental, Vision Insurance</li></ul><ul><li>Paid Time Off (PTO pool)</li></ul><ul><li>Paid Holidays</li></ul>Job Type: Full-timePay: $20.00 - $24.00 per hourBenefits:<ul><li>Dental insurance</li><li>Health insurance</li><li>Paid time off</li><li>Vision insurance</li></ul>Work Location: In person
