Position: CAD Designer &ndash; Full TimeJob Overview We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented CAD Designer to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in mechanical engineering design and be proficient in various CAD software applications. This role requires creativity, technical knowledge, and the ability to produce high-quality designs that meet industry standards. The CAD Designer will work closely with engineers and project managers to develop schematics and system designs for a variety of projects.ResponsibilitiesJob Description the CAD Designer will learn and be able to perform the following functions. Digital Scan 3D will help train<ul><li>Product/Part Design using SolidWorks.</li><li>Create detailed 2D and 3D models using software such as AutoCAD, SolidWorks, Revit a plus.</li><li>Develop mechanical designs and assembly drawings</li><li>Utilize GD&amp;T principles to ensure precision in design specifications.</li><li>Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and translate them into effective design solutions.</li><li>Conduct drafting tasks including system design, schematics, and technical writing.</li><li>Maintain accurate documentation of design processes and revisions.</li><li>Reverse Engineering Parts &amp; Assemblies from 3D scanned data Using Design X.</li><li>3D Scanning support, 3D Printing as needed.</li><li>Some project travel. Any other general/misc. projects as needed.</li></ul>Qualification<ul><li>SolidWorks/CAD experience &ndash; A must have. 1-year minimum professional experience.</li><li>Mechanical Engineering Degree a plus. Associate degree minimum.</li><li>Proficiency in CAD software such as AutoCAD, Revit, SolidWorks, Creo, Autodesk, and Inventor is essential.</li><li>Ability to create clear technical documentation and reports.</li><li>Strong technical knowledge, precise and concise written skills</li><li>Organized/clean, keen to learn, extra attention to detail, team player, respectful.</li><li>SolidWorks, Geomagic Design X, Various 3D Scanner Software</li><li>Strong communication skills to effectively collaborate with team members and stakeholders. Payable Bi-Weekly. After a successful 3-month probationary period. The CAD Designer should be able to perform the above listed responsibilitiesSalary Post Probation $70,000/Year + Full Benefits.
