Diki Sunshine Center is an established new center located in Long Island City, Queens and we are hiring teaching assistants/floaters for various classrooms.The positions will start immediately.The ideal candidates should have experience with ages 2-5 year olds. The ideal candidates should be loving and motivated to learn.Please specify in your cover letter with your related experience and your salary expectation (hourly wage). We are looking for someone that's caring, hands on and with motivation to learn. Candidates with similar experience preferred.Minimum Education Requirement For teaching assistants:- High school diplomas or GED, AA or BA preferred in the related field preferred.- minimum one year experience in the classroom- willing to be DOHMH fingerprinted and background check; DOE fingerprinted is a plusThe goal of teachers at Diki Sunshine Center is to provide a warm, nurturing, safe, and loving environment where self-concepts are enhanced, independence encouraged, and individuality respected.
