Dinsmore is seeking Legal Administrative Assistants at our Los Angeles, CA location who will support multiple attorneys within our litigation practice group.
 
Responsibilities
 
<ul>
<li>Drafting correspondence, editing and filing pleadings with state and federal courts, scheduling depositions, maintaining attorney calendars and files, making travel arrangements, creating and maintaining accurate expense reports and time entry, reviewing and editing of pre-bills, and other administrative duties as assigned</li>
</ul>
Requirements
 
<ul>
<li>Minimum of three years of experience with litigation support</li>
<li>Strong experience calendaring litigation deadlines</li>
<li>Working knowledge and understanding of State and Federal court rules and procedures</li>
<li>Strong filing / e-filing experience in State and Federal courts, ECF and Pacer</li>
<li>Ability to create/work with Table of Authorities and Table of Contents</li>
<li>Experience using attorney timekeeping software and document management systems</li>
<li>Experience and proficiency using MS Office Suite</li>
<li>Ability to manage multiple deadlines</li>
<li>Excellent writing, grammar, proofreading skills, and meticulous attention to detail</li>
<li>Strong organizational and time management skills</li>
<li>Proven success as a positive team player, as well as an independent worker</li>
<li>Ability to excel in a fast-paced environment</li>
<li>We seek candidates that are self-directed, have high energy, and have advanced computer skills</li>

Responsibilities
 
<ul>
<li>Filing, client management, billing, time entry, formatting, proofreading and editing of documents, travel arrangements, and other legal assistant functions</li>
</ul>
Requirements
 
<ul>
<li>Minimum of 3 years’ experience with commercial real estate and/or finance</li>
<li>Loan closing experience a plus</li>
<li>Management of multiple calendars</li>
<li>Filing/e-filing assistance with various county clerk offices</li>
<li>Time entry and billing support using Aderant/CMS</li>
<li>Use of various Microsoft Office applications</li>
<li>Excellent writing, grammar, proofreading skills, and meticulous attention to detail</li>
<li>Possess strong organizational and time management skills</li>
<li>Proven success as a positive team player as well as an independent worker</li>
<li>Ability to excel in a fast-paced environment</li>

Responsibilities

<li>Calendaring deadlines, understanding of State and Federal court rules and procedures, e-filing in State and Federal courts, ECF and Pacer, drafting correspondence, editing and filing pleadings with State and Federal courts, scheduling meetings, file maintenance, travel arrangements, expense reports, time entry, review and editing of pre-bills, and maintaining attorney calendars</li>
</ul>
Requirements
 
<ul>
<li>Solid work history including 5 recent years providing legal administrative support</li>
<li>Experience in Tax law is preferred, but not required</li>
<li>Excellent word processing skills and intermediate-level use of Microsoft Suite, .pdf editing software, and related legal software, including electronic document management systems (iManage)</li>
<li>Familiarity with basic online resources</li>
<li>Excellent writing, grammar, proofreading skills, and meticulous attention to detail</li>
<li>Strong organizational and time management skills and ability to multi-task</li>
<li>Success as a positive team player, as well as an independent worker</li>
<li>Ability to excel in a fast-paced environment</li>
<li>Ability to review and communicate case status and deadlines to attorney/paralegals and effectively report to several professionals</li>
