Dinsmore is seeking a Legal Administrative Assistant at our Miami, FL location who will support multiple attorneys with complex commercial litigation, commercial transactions, torts, and product liability matters.
 
Responsibilities
 
<ul>
<li>Filings, client management, billing, time entry, formatting, proofreading and editing of documents, travel arrangements, and other legal assistant functions. We seek candidates who are self-directed, high energy, and have advanced computer skills.</li>
</ul>
Requirements
 
<ul>
<li>Minimum of 5 years of experience with litigation support</li>
<li>Appellate experience, a plus</li>
<li>Ability to manage billing for assigned attorneys (time entry, pre-bills, invoicing)</li>
<li>Strong experience calendaring litigation deadlines</li>
<li>Working knowledge and understanding of state and federal court rules and procedures</li>
<li>Filing/e-filing experience in state and federal courts, ECF, and Pacer</li>
<li>Experience using attorney timekeeping software and document management systems</li>
<li>Experience and proficiency using MS Office Suite</li>
<li>Ability to manage multiple deadlines</li>
<li>Excellent writing, grammar, proofreading skills, and meticulous attention to detail</li>
<li>Strong organizational and time management skills</li>
<li>Proven success as a positive team player, as well as a proactive, independent worker</li>
<li>Ability to excel in a fast paced environment</li>
