Responsibilities :
 
<ul><li>Serve 4-6 table stations, depending on party size, which includes taking food orders, entering into the POS system, delivering food to tables, and following up with guest service and needs until meals are complete and Guest leaves (all course meals, refills, pre-bussing tables, etc.)
</li><li>Serve food and beverage to Guests at proper temperature</li><li>
Share knowledge of wines and spirits to Guests
</li><li>Anticipate Guest needs and act accordingly</li><li>
Work with kitchen/restaurant equipment including, but not limited to, coffee brewers, juice, and soda fountains and toasters</li><li>
Work with kitchen supplies including small/large trays, carafes, coffee pots, plates, silverware, and glassware</li><li>
Practice proper sanitation procedures and maintain cleanliness of side stations</li><li>
Complete assigned side work as necessary including, but not limited to, polishing silverware, folding/rolling napkins, filling condiment caddies, cleaning beverage side station, and slicing and pitting fruit for garnishing drinks
</li><li>May combine the serving of food with a small amount of the food preparation</li><li>
May serve as a Cocktail server</li><li>
Assist guests with directions, entertainment, show event schedules and other information</li></ul> 

Basic Qualifications :
 
<ul><li>You must be at least 21 years of age to be considered for this role and comfortable serving alcohol</li><li>
2+ years of experience working as a Server or Waithelp in a high-end restaurant</li><li>
Extensive wine knowledge - Sommelier preferred</li><li>
Knowledge of Forbes standards is a plus</li><li>
Knowledgeable of food and wine pairings and service techniques utilized in a fine dining restaurant</li><li>
Excellent Guest service skills</li><li>
Poised and professional - avoiding use of casual language</li><li>
Very strong verbal and non-verbal communication skills - including the ability to speak articulately and clearly and provide good eye contact</li></ul>

SCHEDULE AVAILABILITY 
This location serves Breakfast and Dinner service. Shifts may begin as early as 6:00 AM while some may end as late as 1:00 AM.
<ul><li>PM Service: Shifts may begin as early as 12:00 PM and end as late as midnight (or later depending on when the last Guest leaves)</li><li>
AM Service (Princess Breakfast Adventure): Shifts are typically 6am-2:30pm
<ul><li>All shift times and hours are subject to change based on business needs</li></ul></li></ul>

Kālepa's Store - Located near the lobby, this is a convenient place for our guests to purchase groceries, sundries and vacation essentials for the whole &lsquo;ohana. Merchandise at this location features artisanal island delights that tell the story of Aulani Resort and its celebration of Hawaiian culture. 
 
Hale Manu - Located near the lobby, this upscale boutique allows guests to discover high-end fashion and island flair. From authentic Hawaiian-made products and gifts to jewelry and designer sunglasses, our guests are bound to leave with something luxurious.
 
 
The Lava Shack - This convenient poolside shop offers swimwear, beach toys, snacks, beverages, and more. 
 
Special Events, Pop-Up Locations &amp; Carts - Whether its vending merchandise outside on the beach, setting up and breaking down &quot;Pop-Up&quot; locations, or interacting with our guests underneath the stars during &lsquo;Ohana Movie Nights, these mobile shops are examples of how we bring magic to our guests! 
 
Responsibilities :
 
Enhance the guest experience during their stay through strong product awareness, proactive selling techniques and a positive demeanor. Be prepared to work both indoors and outdoors supporting either a retail location or a merchandise cart.<ul><li>
Guest Service - Proactively approaches all guests and offers options while increasing revenue opportunities.</li><li>
Greeter - Greet and thank each guest as they enter and exit the location; assist with directions, event schedules, provide samples, and other information requested by guests as necessary.</li><li>
Retail Agent - Process merchandise transactions following proper POS procedures; select locations may have you selling bottled liquor.</li><li>
Pin Trader/Hat/Leather Personalization - Share pin trading knowledge, embroider guest names on hat products purchased, and engrave guest names on pre-determined leather items.</li><li>
Grocery Delivery - Responsible for overall delivery of grocery items to all Guest rooms throughout the Resort.</li><li>
Stock Receiver &ndash; Unloads and processes both hard-line and soft-line product by demonstrating the ability to meet and/or exceed productivity standards. Demonstrate working knowledge and application of producing product to floor-ready visual standards.</li><li><div>
</div>Stock Runner - Responsible for straightening and detailing product by zone, accurately identifying out-of-stock product by utilizing the merchandise handheld, accurately picking product via merchandise stockroom, successfully communicate out-of-stocks via logistics board and fulfill product to the sales fixture by demonstrating the ability to meet and/or exceed productivity standards. This process will occur throughout the day.</li></ul> 

Basic Qualifications :
 
<ul><li>Follow Open/Close procedures for cashiering role, including, but not limited to counting out and balancing of funds at beginning and end of shifts.</li><li>
Follow proper cash handling procedures.</li><li>
Adhere to loss prevention guidelines.</li><li>
May also be asked to work in specialized areas, as needed, additional training required.</li></ul> 
 
 
Preferred Qualifications:
 
<ul><li>Basic mathematical skills are necessary.</li><li>
Sales experience helpful, and/or feeling comfortable with suggestive selling.</li><li>
Knowledge of Hawaiian/Japanese language preferred.</li></ul>

Full Time - Full availability is required seven (7) days per week, including early mornings, late nights, weekends, and holidays.
