DFAP (Disney Fine Art Photography) is seeking a highly skilled Sr. Photography Retoucher with exceptional technical expertise and a strong eye for detail to lead and manage the post-production workflow for our photography retouch team. This role combines advanced retouching capabilities with project management responsibilities, ensuring timely and high-quality delivery of all image editing assignments.</p><p></p><p>
This is an Hourly Full-Time role reporting to the Disney Fine Art Photography Manager.</p><p></p><h2 class="jobSectionHeader"><b>
What You Will Do</b></h2><h2 class="jobSectionHeader"><b>
Advanced Retouching</b></h2><ul><li><p>
Perform high-end photo retouching, color correction, compositing, and image enhancements for marketing, editorial, and event photography.</p></li><li><p>
Maintain brand consistency and visual standards across all imagery.</p></li><li><p>
Apply expert knowledge of lighting, skin tones, textures, and product detailing to create a cohesive look.</p></li></ul><p></p><h2 class="jobSectionHeader"><b>
Project Management</b></h2><ul><li><p>
Oversee the assignment and completion of retouching projects for a team of retouchers.</p></li><li><p>
Develop and manage timelines, ensuring deadlines are met without compromising quality.</p></li><li><p>
Act as the primary point of contact between photographers, retouching team, and QC team, and web posters.</p></li><li><p>
Monitor workload distribution and provide guidance to team member</p></li></ul><p></p><h2 class="jobSectionHeader"><b>
Collaboration &amp; Communication</b></h2><ul><li><p>
Work closely with photographers, retouch team, QC team, web posters and leadership to understand creative direction.</p></li><li><p>
Demonstrated ability to provide constructive role-related feedback, mentorship and coaching to photographers and junior retouchers.</p></li><li><p>
Work efficiently and effectively in a fast-paced creative environment with multiple concurrent projects.</p></li><li><p>
Occasional extended hours during peak production periods.</p></li></ul><p></p><h2 class="jobSectionHeader"><b>
Required Qualifications &amp; Skills</b></h2><h2 class="jobSectionHeader"><b>
Technical Skills</b></h2><ul><li><p>
Expert proficiency in Adobe Photoshop and Lightroom</p></li><li><p>
Strong understanding of color theory, composition, and digital imaging workflows.</p></li><li><p>
Knowledge of print and digital output requirements.</p></li><li><p>
Exceptional attention to detail and artistic sensibility.</p></li><li><p>
Strong organizational and time-management skills.</p></li><li><p>
Excellent communication and mentoring/training abilities.</p></li><li><p>
Ability to build strong relationships through interpersonal and partnering skills</p></li><li><p>
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while meeting tight deadlines or responding to unplanned needs</p></li></ul><p></p><h2 class="jobSectionHeader"><b>
Preferred Qualifications</b></h2><ul><li><p>
Minimum 3+ years of professional retouching experience, preferably in a high-volume or luxury brand environment.</p></li><li><p>
Familiarity with Capture One and other retouching tools.</p></li><li><p>
Proven experience managing projects and providing directions to a team.</p></li></ul><p></p><h2 class="jobSectionHeader"><b>
Required Education</b></h2><ul><li><p>
High School Diploma or Equivalent Experience</p></li></ul><p></p><h2 class="jobSectionHeader"><b>
