Job SummaryThis individual will plan, develop, implement quality standards to ensure plant parts meet or exceed customer expectations.Duties &amp; Responsibilities<ul><li>Responsible for investigating, analyzing, containing, and correcting quality issues related to customer product</li><li>Perform audits and implement new strategies to improve overall quality</li><li>Coordinate and implement process change requests</li><li>Serve as a liaison between Diversity-Vuteq and our customers and suppliers relating to quality issues</li><li>Coordinate each phase of the quality control/assurance activities of new and existing projects to ensure product quality, schedules, and time frames meet customer requirements</li><li>Collect information and research data related to quality standard requirements to comply with customer requirements</li><li>Analyze processes for improvements, failure modes, stability, and capability&middot; Manage and maintain quality assurance documents including quality assurance plan, tool progress report, evaluation plan, inspection standards, supplier and customer quality standards, Supplier Quality Assurance Manual (SQAM), Quality Assurance Standards (QAS), Process Flow, Process Failure Mode Effects Analysis (PFMEA), Manufacturing Quality Chart/Control Plan (MQC/CP), Initial Sample Inspection Report (ISIR), etc</li><li>Initiate, prepare, and present plans for quality improvements and train required team members</li><li>Complete miscellaneous reporting, administrative, and other quality related functions for the Quality Control department as required including QC Circle participation, Key Performance Indicator (KPI) reporting, quality dojo creation/training, and launch document preparation, etc</li><li>Support and assist with planning, development, and implementation of quality systems and activities with suppliers to ensure supplier parts meet or exceed plant and customer expectations</li><li>Other duties may be required ensuring that Diversity-Vuteq meets and exceeds our customer expectations and needs</li><li>Job Qualifications</li></ul>Experience<ul><li>4+ years&rsquo; of relevant experience</li><li>In-depth knowledge of PPAP and MQC documents</li><li>Experience with manufacturing processes, quality control, and SPC</li><li>Quality inspection experience</li><li>Thorough understanding and working knowledge of automotive plants and processes, company products, trade terminology, quality management and control systems and techniques, manufacturing processes, tooling and equipment, and machine operation</li></ul>Skills and Abilities<ul><li>Ability to read, interpret, and understand engineering documents such as automotive drawings (component, assembly, and equipment), technical standards, design specifications, general tolerances, critical characteristics, Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing (GD&amp;T), Engineering Change Instructions (ECI), Prototype Parts Requests (PPR), and color instructions</li><li>High attention to detail and accuracy</li><li>Ability to manage time efficiently</li><li>Good presentation skills</li><li>Prioritization skills; ability to adapt to changing demands</li><li>Ability to show versatility and resourcefulness when problem solving</li><li>Solid interpersonal skills; able to communicate issues customers and suppliers</li><li>Ability to work in a team environment</li><li>Ability organize tasks and demands efficiently</li><li>Good assertiveness and critical thinking skills</li></ul>Other<ul><li>High school diploma or GED required</li><li>Associate&rsquo;s degree or higher preferred</li><li>Valid driver&rsquo;s license</li></ul>Benefits:<ul><li>401(k)</li><li>401(k) matching</li><li>Dental insurance</li><li>Health insurance</li><li>Life insurance</li><li>Paid time off</li><li>Vision insurance</li></ul>Work Location: In person
