Join us to contribute to impactful projects while advancing your career in a fast-paced, growth-oriented environment.&lt;Responsibilities&gt;<ul><li>Oversee all aspects of financial accounting for construction projects, including general ledger management, account reconciliation, and cost control</li><li>Ensure compliance with GAAP (Generally Accepted Accounting Principles), IFRS (International Financial Reporting Standards), SOX (Sarbanes-Oxley Act), and other regulatory standards relevant to construction finance</li><li>Manage accounts payable and receivable processes, ensuring timely payments and collections aligned with project schedules</li><li>Conduct balance sheet reconciliations regularly to maintain accurate financial records and identify discrepancies promptly</li><li>Prepare detailed financial reports, including project budgets, cash flow forecasts, and variance analyses for internal stakeholders and external auditors</li><li>Support budgeting and forecasting activities by analyzing financial data and providing insights for strategic decision-making</li><li>Utilize accounting software such as Sage, Xero, QuickBooks, or similar platforms to streamline financial operations and improve reporting accuracy</li></ul>&lt;Skills&gt;<ul><li>Extensive knowledge of GAAP, IFRS, SOX compliance, and governmental accounting standards</li><li>Proven experience with non-profit accounting practices is a plus</li><li>Strong understanding of cash management, payroll processing, and regulatory reporting requirements</li><li>Expertise in general ledger accounting, account reconciliation, and double-entry bookkeeping techniques</li><li>Proficiency in financial analysis, account analysis, and financial report writing using various accounting software tools like Sage or Xero</li><li>Ability to interpret complex financial concepts and communicate findings clearly to non-financial stakeholders</li><li>Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail; capable of managing multiple priorities under tight deadlines</li></ul>Join our team as a Construction Controller if you&rsquo;re passionate about leveraging your accounting expertise to support impactful projects.
