Our Pittsburgh office is looking for a Grant and Contract Development Specialist to join our team and help grow our company and be an asset to the organizational growth and growth projections for the company.Our specialists will seek opportunities in the local, state and federal sector, finding DCNR parks opportunities and recreation projects in the state of Pennsylvania as well as PA Bidmatch marketplace, healthcare providers, science and technology organizations, higher education and cultural institutions, urban environments, mixed-use and waterfront developments, and parks and open spaces.The Grant and Contract Development Specialist Partnership will play a key role in helping advance projects and positioning the firm to secure new business opportunities. This role will be responsible for the research and development of grant and philanthropic funding opportunities across private and public sectors, working with the leadership from our main office and markets in which the Grant and contract Development Specialist will support firm growth and client funding needs.The position is located in the Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania metro area but may be a telecommuting, part-time, and/or hybrid position with convenient meetings. The Grant and Contract Development Specialist will report to the Director of Operations in that affiliated office.Working with us, you will:<ul><li>Research grant-awarding organizations like DCNR and seek opportunities for (DKL) and clients.</li><li>Draft, review, and submit grant proposals and supporting documents based on the funding requirements of projects on behalf of clients and firm.</li><li>Focus on the research and development of public and private grant and philanthropic funding opportunities and the coordination and development of grant submissions.</li><li>Create and maintain relationships with funding agencies</li><li>Serve as a funding expert related to funding sources available for certain markets and geographies and advise the team on potential opportunities related to projects/clients.</li><li>Assists in the development of backlog of grants and contracts and implement a systematic and efficient process of outreach strategies to educate clients on potential project funding.</li><li>Drafts grant and funding-related content related to marketing collateral, proposals and presentations.</li><li>Develop methodology to measure the success of grants awarded and funding obtained.</li><li>Have knowledge of Pennsylvania Marketplace Bid Match and contract postings</li><li>Performs other duties as assigned.</li></ul>Education &amp; Experience:<ul><li>Bachelor's degree in Political Science, Marketing, Communications, English, Journalism or related field.</li><li>Minimum of 5 years of experience in successful grant writing.</li><li>Knowledge of the AEC Industry is preferred.</li><li>Microsoft Office Suite experience is required.</li><li>Adobe InDesign experience is preferred.</li></ul>ApplyingYou must apply online for this position.
