 Duties &amp; Responsibilities
 
 
 
 <ul>
 <li>
 Perform material testing and observation, keep accurate record of results for prompt reporting.
 </li>
 <li>
 Maintain field equipment in proper working order.
 </li>
 <li>
 Assist in hand coring operations
 </li>
 <li>
 Calibrate assigned field equipment.
 </li>
 <li>
 Perform all work in a safe and responsible manner, in accordance with DLZ&rsquo;s Health and Safety Plan.
 </li>
 <li>
 Perform other duties as assigned.
 
 
 </li>
 </ul>
 
 Job Qualifications
 
 
 
 <ul>
 <li>
 High School Graduate or equivalent.
 </li>
 <li>
 Insurable driving record, ability to pass background and drug testing required.
 </li>
 <li>
 Able to lift up to 75lbs throughout daily functions.
 </li>
 <li>
 Proficient with Microsoft Office, Excel.
 </li>
 <li>
 Ability to work over 40 hours per week as needed, may be on short notice.
 </li>
 <li>
 Technician Level to be determined based on experience and union contract required certifications below:
 </li>
 <ul>
 <li>
 ACI Level I, II Certification
 </li>
 <li>
 ACI Concrete Inspector Certification
 </li>
 <li>
 CWI Certification
 </li>
 <li>
 Troxler Class Certification
 </li>
 <li>
 ANST Level I, 2 or 3 - MT, PT, UT, VT Certification
 </li>
 <li>
 ASNT Level II-MT, PT, VT Certification
 </li>
 <li>
 Bentonite Slurry Certification
 </li>
 <li>
 IDOT Level I, II, III Asphalt-Concrete Certification
 </li>
 <li>
 Soils and Granular Material Experience four (4) or more years
 </li>
 <li>
 Floor Flatness Certified Dipstick
 </li>
 <li>
 Roofing Observations
 </li>
 <li>
 ASNT Level II-UT Certification
 </li>
 <li>
 NICET Level I, II, III Certification
 </li>
 <li>
 ICBO fireproofing Certification
 </li>
 <li>
 ICBO-Masonry, Steel, Concrete Certification
 </li>
 <li>
 CWI-Certified Welding Inspector
 </li>
 <li>
 INDOT Qualified Technician
 
 </li>
 </ul>
 </ul>
 
 Compensation is commensurate with experience, premium pay as appropriate. Excellent Union Local 150 health insurance, retirement plans, and paid vacation offered after a probationary work period.
