</ul><div><b>Primary Responsibilities:</b></div>
<ul><li>Use approved methods and materials in cleaning and caring for assigned facility.</li>
<li>Operate and maintain equipment such as; auto floor scrubbers, burnishing buffers, stripping machines and vacuums.</li>
<li>Sweep, vacuum, mop, scrub and polish floors using industrial vacuum cleaners and scrubbing and buffing machines.</li>
<li>Empty trash receptacles.</li>
<li>May remove stains from such surfaces as rugs, drapes, walls, and floors using chemicals and cleaning solutions.</li>
<li>General cleaning furniture, window sills, and walls.</li>
<li>Dust, wash walls, clean ceilings, and polish light fixtures.</li>
<li>Move cabinets, boxes, furniture, crates and equipment to clean areas.</li>
<li>Clean/stock all restroom, janitorial closet and break rooms.</li>
<li>Record and document all cleaning functions on appropriate logs and report to Supervisor.</li>
<li>Perform light building maintenance duties as needed.</li>
<li>Report any major safety item for repair.</li>
<li>Other duties as assigned.</li>
</ul><div><b>Position Requirements:</b></div>
<ul><li>Education: High school diploma, GED or technical school certification</li>
<li>Must be self-motivated and have the ability to work with minimal supervision.</li>
<li>0-6 months custodial/ janitorial experience using floor scrubbers, buffers, stripping machines.</li>
<li>Ability to lift up to 40 lbs.</li>
<li>Requires the ability to read and follow label instructions on cleaning supplies</li>
<li>Ability to follow basic verbal &amp; written instructions.</li>
<li>Ability to pay close attention to detail.</li>
<li>Must have team aptitude and approach.</li>
