With increased investments in renewable energy sources, battery storage, Data Centers, a reconfigured power grid, and associated transmission lines and substations we see many years of growth.We are currently seeking a full-time QUALITY CONTROL INSPECTOR to join team.Job Description:We are actively hiring a Quality Control Inspector for 2nd Shift Monday - Friday. Experienced, competent Quality Control Inspectors must be highly skilled and have the ability to work with great concentration and precision. Must be responsible and comply with all safety guidelines. Having a keen eye for detail and great mechanical aptitude are essential. The goal is to produce high-quality parts and materials by inspecting them.Duties:Perform visual and mechanical inspection using measurement and test equipment such as: calipers, micrometers, pin gages, bore gages, height gage, angle protractor and optical comparator.Perform regular quality assessments on all incoming materials from the vendor, in-process parts being manufactured, and outgoing products for shipping.<ul><li>Conduct parts verification and Blueprint interpretation for dimensional and visual checks.</li><li>Strong understanding of GD&amp;T and Functional knowledge of metrology.</li><li>Initiate and act on discrepancy / non-conformance as necessary.</li><li>Conduct internal investigations on root cause of non-conformance/ failure and finding disposition of non-conformance.</li><li>Develop and implement procedures for technical processes to increase process control efficiency.</li><li>Assure that the documentation of the quality system is controlled, maintained, and recorded in a manner consistent with the requirements of ISO9001-2015 and DMC Power quality requirements.</li><li>Strong organizational skills for document tracking, audits, and certifications support.</li><li>Maintain database systems used to document quality functions.</li></ul>Requirements:<ul><li>Knowledge of ERP systems highly preferred.</li><li>Proficient in Microsoft Word and Excel.</li><li>Knowledge of tooling / hydraulics strongly preferred.</li><li>Knowledge of power/utility industry and/or substation projects highly preferred.</li><li>1 - 3 years of quality control inspection or manufacturing inspection experience required.</li></ul>We strongly encourage candidates to review our website prior to applying: www.dmcpower.comDMC Power, Inc. is an Equal Employment Opportunity Action employerAll qualified applicants will receive consideration for employment without regard to race, color, religion, sex including sexual orientation and gender identity, national origin, disability, protected Veteran Status, or any other characteristic protected by applicable federal, state, or local law.Job Type: Full-timePay: $19.50 - $23.00 per hourBenefits:<ul><li>401(k)</li><li>401(k) matching</li><li>Dental insurance</li><li>Health insurance</li><li>Health savings account</li><li>Life insurance</li><li>Paid time off</li><li>Referral program</li><li>Vision insurance</li></ul>Work Location: In person
