About the Opportunity:

Digital Management, LLC (DMI) is seeking a full-time <b>Senior Specialist </b>to support its Federal Subcontracts team.</p><p><br>
</p><p>This candidate will ensure the procurement of suitable supplies, services, and equipment in a timely and cost-efficient manner. The candidate will ensure that such procurements fall within the requirements and limitations defined by the applicable authorization. This candidate will also be responsible for tracking bid/quotations, no bids, follow-ups, procurement opportunity research, supplier and customer research, communication with organization&rsquo;s suppliers and customers, order entry and acknowledgements, and routine contract follow-ups including nearly and overdue status.</p><p></p><p><br>
The individual holding this position works under the supervision and guidance of the Senior Director of Subcontracts and Managed Services, and functions as a liaison between DMI&rsquo;s internal project management teams, subcontractors, sources of supply, and sales representatives. Judgment, initiative, and resourcefulness are required in making decisions regarding the quality and cost of products required.</p><div></div><div><b><br>
Duties and Responsibilities:</b></div><br>

Obtain Quotes from vendors for purchases under $100K.</li><li>
Produce, receive, track, and evaluate quotations and bids for required products.</li><li>
Negotiate with suppliers to obtain COTS products at the best quantity/cost.</li><li>
Prepare purchase orders and changes for required products.</li><li>
Purchase material and services via the Procurement P-Card and maintain and reconcile the Procurement Log monthly and provide to AP for payment.</li><li>
Maintain communication with suppliers during the course of procurement action to ensure timely delivery in compliance with the requirements of the procurement document.</li><li>
Update and maintain the Reps and Certs database.</li><li>
Update and maintain the Insurance Certificates database.</li><li>
File and maintain all procurement files.</li><li>
Timely response to all formal customer and subcontractor/vendor inquiries and issues.</li><li>
Verbal and written communications must be timely and of consistently high quality in content, style and clarity.</li><li>
Perform complex data entry in various systems with a high level of accuracy.</li><li>
Assist in any projects with minimal errors in deadline-driven environment.</li><li>
Respond effectively to changing workloads and priorities.</li><li>
Preparation and Negotiation of Non-Disclosure Agreements and Teaming Agreements.</li><li>
Maintains subcontract files/documentation in accordance with company policy, FAR, DFARS and other regulations.</li><li>
Coordinates contract close-out efforts with subcontractors.</li><li>
May perform other duties as assigned.</li></ul><br>

Qualifications:<p></p><p><b><br>
Skills/Certification:</b></p><br>
<p></p><ul><li>
BA/BS Degree in Business or an associated discipline or equivalent experience preferred, but AS/AA acceptable with appropriate experience in Federal Subcontracting.</li><li>
A minimum of five years&rsquo; experience in purchasing materials and subcontract administration.</li><li>
Ability to understand and follow instructions precisely, effective interpersonal skills, computer education and/or experience, effective communication skills in both verbal and written form.</li><li>
Working knowledge of Federal Procurement (Knowledge of CPSR a plus).</li><li>
Working knowledge of FARs and DFARs.</li><li>
Knowledge of sources for supplies and electronic components (national and local).</li><li>
Experience working in a CPSR Approved Purchasing System Environment</li><li>
Experience with Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, SharePoint, and MS Teams required</li><li>
Experience with Deltek Costpoint required</li><li>
Ability to use independent judgment and creativity to address and resolve issues</li><li>
Experienced negotiator</li><li>
Must be able to maintain high level of confidentiality and professionalism</li><li>
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail</li><li>
Experience with working remotely and maintaining strong communication within team and customer base</li></ul><p></p><p><b><br>
