Purpose of position: Perform QC testing of Bulk &amp; finish good products to support in process manufacturing process using analytical instruments with an In-depth understanding of industry standards and company policies/goals.Essential Functions:&middot; The main responsibility will be to perform the color review on shaded products and provide adjustments in a timely fashion to complete the batches on time.&middot; To use different techniques to check the color on the formulas.&middot; To perform physical properties testing in bulk &amp; Finished Goods (color, Odor, Appearance &amp; Texture), pH, Viscosity, specific gravity, density, color matching in formulation batches and in finished products.&middot; To test water for conductivity &amp; pH.&middot; Daily water system checks and micro for raw materials &amp; bulk.&middot; Analyze samples using approved in-house or USP/NF methods.&middot; Daily calibration of required instruments in the laboratory.&middot; Prepare bulk COA, help with batch cards and release of product in a timely manner, as required.&middot; Maintain proper documentation/laboratory notebook during analysis following cGMP and GLP &amp; FDA regulations as well as perform out-of-specification investigation when required.&middot; Laboratory analysis of all assigned tasks by Lab Manager in an efficient and timely manner.&middot; Communicating with the Analytical lab Manager of any issues during testing is essential.&middot; Maintain a thorough knowledge of appropriate standard operating procedures and adapt to last minutes changes.Job Skills &amp; Qualifications Requirements:<ul><li>2+ years of experience working in a laboratory.</li><li>Basic communication, mathematics, and computer skills/literacy, MS Office proficient.</li><li>Knowledge of cGMP&rsquo;s, GDP and GLPs ensuring compliance with current regulations.</li><li>Ability to work independently and closely follow quality standards.</li><li>Attention to detail, multitasking, decision-making skills.</li><li>Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.</li><li>Great team player with the ability to work in a fast-paced environment and with minimal supervision.</li><li>A willingness to learn new tasks and skills as training is provided.</li><li>Able to sit, stand and walk around for long hours at a time (if needed).</li><li>Preferred Qualifications &ndash; Color Matching.</li></ul>Job Type: Full-timePay: $18.50 - $21.00 per hourBenefits:<ul><li>401(k)</li><li>Dental insurance</li><li>Health insurance</li><li>Life insurance</li><li>Paid time off</li><li>Vision insurance</li></ul>Application Question(s):<ul><li>Do you have experience working in a laboratory or quality assurance testing environment?</li><li>Are you familiar with Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) or proper laboratory documentation?</li></ul>Ability to Commute:<ul><li>Wharton, NJ 07885 (Required)</li></ul>Ability to Relocate:<ul><li>Wharton, NJ 07885: Relocate before starting work (Required)</li></ul>Work Location: In person
