About the role</b></h3><p>
DNV seeks an <b>Outreach Lead</b> to manage and support outreach activities for the Small Business Energy Efficiency Programs in Michigan. Reporting directly to the Head of Section, this position will oversee the outreach team, ensuring alignment with program goals, client expectations, and operational excellence. The Outreach Lead plays a critical role in fostering relationships with trade allies, customers, and the client to drive participation and deliver measurable energy savings.</p><p>
This role requires strong leadership, collaboration, and communication skills, balancing time between office coordination and field engagement.</p><p><b>
This role is based at our DNV office in Lansing, MI, presenting a dynamic hybrid schedule where employees will typically spend three (3) days per week working from either a DNV office or client location/site. What you'll do</b></p><ul><li>
Oversee and coach the outreach team to ensure program objectives, participation targets, and customer satisfaction goals are met.</li><li>
Coordinate with marketing, operations, and program leadership to implement effective outreach strategies and improve performance outcomes.</li><li>
Serve as the primary liaison with the client team overseeing trade ally management, maintaining strong communication and collaboration.</li><li>
Coordinate and deliver ongoing training for the outreach team, conduct field ride-alongs, and provide regular performance feedback.</li><li>

About the role</b></h3><p>
DNV seeks an <b>Energy Assessor </b>individual to serve as a key customer-facing representative of the Small Business Energy Assessment Program, conducting on-site energy assessments for small business customers. This role involves evaluating customer facilities, identifying energy-savings opportunities, recommending program solutions, and installing select direct install measures. The position will report to the Program Manager and will be a key member of staff to drive the success of the program over the coming years.</p><p>
The Energy Assessor individual will work with DNV staff to ensure the successful execution of field assessments, direct installs, and data entry of all collected facility data. <b>This field role will be in field at minimum of three days and work from home or in the office two days a week.</b></p><p><b>
