 DNV Inspection in Oman is seeking for an Operations Manager who is accountable for full P&amp;L management, business growth, client engagement, operational delivery, and In-Country Value (ICV) performance.
 
 
 The role is focused on onshore Oil &amp; Gas, gas processing, LNG-related infrastructure, pipelines, and EPC-led projects, with strong emphasis on National Oil Companies, government-linked entities, EPC contractors, and long-term framework clients operating in Oman.
 
 
 
 Key Responsibilities
 
 
 
 <ul>
 <li>
 P&amp;L Ownership &amp; Financial Performance
 </li>
 <li>
 Hold full P&amp;L accountability for DNV Inspection operations in Oman.
 </li>
 <li>
 Develop and execute annual business plans and budgets aligned with Middle East regional targets.
 </li>
 <li>
 Drive revenue growth, margin protection, and cost discipline.
 </li>
 <li>
 Monitor financial performance closely and take corrective actions where required.
 </li>
 <li>
 Business Development &amp; Client Focus (Oman)
 </li>
 <li>
 Own and execute the country growth strategy, with clear focus on:
 </li>
 <ul>
 <li>
 National Oil Companies and government-linked entities
 </li>
 <li>
 Existing long-term and framework clients
 </li>
 <li>
 Major EPC contractors delivering onshore projects
 </li>
 </ul>
 <li>
 Strengthen and expand relationships across:

 Onshore Oil &amp; Gas fields and facilities
 </li>
 <li>
 Gas processing plants, pipelines, and LNG-related onshore infrastructure
 </li>

 Brownfield modifications, integrity programs, and shutdown/turnaround scopes
 </li>
 </ul>
 <li>
 Ensure DNV Inspection is positioned early in client planning and tendering cycles, particularly where ICV commitments are evaluated.
 </li>
 <li>
 ICV &amp; Omanisation
 </li>
 <li>
 Take direct ownership of In-Country Value (ICV) and Omanisation performance for DNV Inspection in Oman.
 </li>
 <li>
 Ensure compliance with:
 </li>
 <ul>
 <li>
 Client-specific ICV requirements
 </li>
 <li>
 National Omanisation targets
 </li>
 <li>
 Contractual and regulatory expectations
 </li>
 </ul>
 <li>
 Develop and implement practical Omanisation plans, including:
 </li>

 Recruitment and development of Omani talent
 </li>
 <li>
 Progressive localisation of inspection and coordination roles
 </li>
 <li>
 Knowledge transfer and competency development
 </li>
 </ul>

 Work closely with clients and authorities to demonstrate credible, measurable ICV contribution.
 </li>

 Ensure ICV commitments are realistic, deliverable, and aligned with business sustainability.

 Key Account Management &amp; Market Intelligence
 </li>
 <li>
 Act as the primary executive interface for key clients in Oman.
 </li>
 <li>
 Maintain strong awareness of:

 Upcoming onshore developments and EPC packages
 </li>
 <li>
 Contract renewals, extensions, and call-off opportunities
 </li>
 <li>
 Client procurement, ICV scoring models, and decision-making processes
 </li>
 </ul>

 Use market intelligence to prioritise pursuits and resource allocation.
 </li>
 <li>
 Operational Delivery &amp; Execution
 </li>
 <li>
 Ensure safe, compliant, and high-quality execution of inspection services across Oman.
 </li>
 <li>
 Oversee:
 </li>
 <ul>
 <li>
 Resource mobilisation and utilisation
 </li>
 <li>
 Project execution and scheduling
 </li>
 <li>
 Resolution of client issues and escalations
 </li>
 </ul>

 Ensure delivery commitments are aligned with available capability and local resource availability, including Omanised resources.

 Senior leadership experience in inspection, TIC, energy services, or EPC-related environments.

 Proven P&amp;L management experience.

 Strong exposure to onshore Oil &amp; Gas and EPC-driven projects.
 </li>
 <li>
 Demonstrated experience with ICV / Omanisation requirements and delivery.
 </li>
 <li>
 Established network with NOCs, government entities, and EPCs in Oman.

 Fluent in Arabic and English (spoken and written).

 Strong commercial, negotiation, and leadership capability.
