Project Coordinator

The Cargo and Customs Clearance Assistant is responsible for coordinating the import and export of goods, ensuring compliance with customs regulations, and facilitating smooth clearance processes. The role involves liaising with freight forwarders, customs authorities, and internal teams to ensure timely delivery of shipments while minimizing costs and delays.1. Customs Clearance:<ul><li>Prepare and submit required customs documentation for imports and exports.</li><li>Ensure compliance with local and international customs laws and regulations.</li><li>Handle duty and tax calculations and payments for shipments.</li><li>Coordinate with customs brokers to expedite clearance processes.</li></ul>2. Cargo Handling &amp; Logistics Coordination:<ul><li>Monitor shipment movements and update stakeholders on status.</li><li>Arrange transportation for cleared shipments to their final destination.</li><li>Ensure proper handling and storage of goods during transit.</li></ul>3. Regulatory Compliance &amp; Documentation:<ul><li>Maintain accurate records of shipping and clearance documents.</li><li>Ensure compliance with trade regulations, including restricted items and duty exemptions.</li><li>Verify invoices, packing lists, and shipping labels for accuracy.</li></ul>4.
