Through our authentic scratch cooking, we attract a crowd who value high quality and who are looking for a newer, more vibrant scene.doi moi is seeking a Host to join our team in support of the creation and execution of this authentic experience.Responsibilities include but are not limited to:<ul><li>Create a warm and inviting welcome for our guests and establish memorable first impressions</li><li>Work with management, servers, bussers, food runners, and bartenders to create a seamless dining experience for our guests</li><li>Coordinate reservations, walk ins, and guest waits with guests&rsquo; preferences, thorough knowledge of seating capacity and server availability while maximizing table turns</li><li>Coordinate reservation booking procedures, practices, and overall restaurant revenue management</li><li>Answer telephone calls and handle restaurant inquiries with a smile and eagerness to assist</li><li>Maintain cleanliness and organization of host stand and entrance of the restaurant</li><li>Work with a purpose; continually update table statuses, help fellow employees, and complete additional assigned tasks to provide a productive and positive work environment</li><li>Attend educational/developmental sessions as required</li></ul>doi moi is part of SRG Concepts, a privately-owned restaurant group that currently owns and operates 7 locations in the greater Washington DC, metropolitan area. Through our authentic scratch cooking, we attract a crowd who value high quality and who are looking for a newer, more vibrant scene.doi moi is seeking a Bartender to join our team in support of the creation and execution of this authentic experience.Responsibilities include but are not limited to:<ul><li>Greet, serve, and communicate with guests through their entire visit to ensure a positive and memorable experience</li><li>Maintain high knowledge of the food, cocktail, wine, and beer menus to explain the items to guests in an enthralling way</li><li>Properly measure, mix, pour, and serve all drinks for guests at the bar and in the dining room</li><li>Respond to guests' questions while suggestively selling drinks, appetizers, specials, etc.</li><li>Properly present, open and serve wine</li><li>Work with other bartenders as well as with management, servers, hosts, bussers, and food runners to create a seamless dining experience for our gusts</li><li>Enter all orders via POS system in a timely manner according to guests&rsquo; coursing preferences</li><li>Work with a purpose; continually fill waters, pre bus, reset/wipe down bar top, complete side work, helps fellow employees, and complete additional assigned tasks to provide a productive and positive work environment</li><li>Responsible for all barback responsibilities if no barback is present including restocking, filling ice, dishwashing, cutting fruit, emptying trash etc.</li><li>Effectively handle all cash and credit card transactions with care</li><li>Attend educational/developmental sessions as required</li></ul>doi moi is part of SRG Concepts, a privately-owned restaurant group that currently owns and operates 3 locations in the greater Washington DC, metropolitan area.
