This paid position offers an exciting opportunity to showcase your hospitality skills while working in a fast-paced, rewarding setting.Duties<ul><li>Greet guests warmly and provide attentive, personalized service throughout their visit</li><li>Take accurate food and beverage orders using POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS</li><li>Prepare and serve drinks, including cocktails, beers, wines, and non-alcoholic beverages, ensuring quality and presentation standards are met</li><li>Upsell menu items to enhance guest satisfaction and increase sales opportunities</li><li>Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of the bar area, tables, and dining space in compliance with food safety regulations</li><li>Handle cash transactions accurately through POS or cashiering systems; process payments efficiently</li><li>Assist with food handling, food preparation, bussing tables, and supporting kitchen staff when needed</li><li>Manage guest relations by addressing inquiries promptly and resolving issues professionally</li><li>Use reservation management tools like OpenTable to coordinate seating arrangements and optimize flow during busy hours</li><li>Support host/hostess duties by managing waitlists and guiding guests to their tables in a friendly manner</li></ul>Skills<ul><li>Proven experience in food service or restaurant environments, especially in fine dining or nightlife venues such as nightclubs</li><li>Strong knowledge of POS systems including Aloha POS and Micros POS; familiarity with OpenTable is a plus</li><li>Excellent customer service skills with the ability to engage guests warmly and professionally</li><li>Skilled in upselling techniques to maximize sales while enhancing guest experience</li><li>Effective time management to handle multiple tables or bar stations efficiently during peak hours</li><li>Knowledge of food safety standards, sanitation practices, and proper food handling procedures</li><li>Basic math skills for cash handling, billing accuracy, and inventory management</li><li>Previous experience in bartending or serving roles that involve culinary knowledge or kitchen support is highly desirable</li><li>Ability to work flexible hours including evenings, weekends, and holidays in a fast-paced environment</li></ul>Join us if you&rsquo;re passionate about hospitality!
