This individual will contribute to a positive, compliant, and people-focused workplace. This role will handle a variety of HR functions including payroll administration, benefits management, leave administration, employee engagement and answering general HR policy questions.

Key Responsibilities of the HR Generalist:<ul><li>
Partner with the Human Resources Director to understand and execute organizational HR priorities and strategies.</li><li>
Manage benefit reconciliations, leaves of absence, unemployment claims, partner on engagement initiatives, and oversee the payroll process.</li><li>
Provide day-to-day HR support to team members and management, addressing benefit questions, leave requests (FMLA and other), accommodations, and payroll concerns amongst other items.</li><li>
Oversee the Payroll Coordinator and take ownership of semi-monthly payroll processing, including verification of accuracy, benefits deductions, and collaboration with payroll provider and HR Director when issues arise.</li><li>
Coordinate new hire benefit enrollment, annual open enrollment, benefit reconciliations, and promote wellness and engagement programs to the employee population.</li><li>
Stay informed on HR trends, regulatory updates, and emerging technologies in HRIS, payroll, and talent management.</li><li>
Handle sensitive employee information with the highest level of confidentiality, integrity, and professionalism.</li><li>
Maintain consistent attendance and dependability in meeting deadlines and operational goals.</li><li>
Perform other related duties as assigned by management.</li></ul>
Qualifications Desired:<ul><li>
Bachelor&rsquo;s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field preferred.</li><li>
Minimum 3 years of HR Generalist or HR management experience strongly preferred.</li><li>
Experience with Paycom HRIS highly desired.</li><li>
Broad based understanding of HR laws, benefits, payroll processes, and compliance requirements.</li></ul>

Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (intermediate Excel knowledge strongly preferred)</li><li>
