Job Purpose:To assist finishing carpenters in performing woodworking and finishing tasks such as installation of doors, cabinets, wardrobes, moldings, and other wood-related works, while maintaining safety, cleanliness, and efficiency at the work site.Key Responsibilities:<ul><li>Assist finishing carpenters in measuring, cutting, assembling, and installing wooden components.</li><li>Carry, load, and unload materials, tools, and equipment to and from the work area.</li><li>Prepare work areas by cleaning, organizing, and setting up necessary materials.</li><li>Hold and position materials during cutting, assembling, and installation.</li><li>Assist in sanding, polishing, and applying finishing materials (such as paint, varnish, or stain) under supervision.</li><li>Follow instructions from finishing carpenters and supervisors to ensure quality work and timely completion of tasks.</li><li>Maintain tools and equipment in good working condition.</li><li>Ensure compliance with company safety standards and proper use of PPE.</li><li>Perform basic site cleaning and disposal of wood scraps and other debris.</li></ul>Qualifications:<ul><li>At least [High School graduate / Basic education &ndash; adjust as per requirement].</li><li>Prior experience as a carpenter helper or construction laborer preferred.</li><li>Basic knowledge of hand tools and power tools used in carpentry.</li><li>Physically fit and able to lift/carry heavy materials.</li><li>Willingness to learn carpentry and finishing techniques.</li><li>Ability to follow instructions and work as part of a team.</li></ul>Skills &amp; Competencies:<ul><li>Good communication and teamwork skills.</li><li>Attention to detail and willingness to learn new skills.</li><li>Knowledge of workplace safety practices.</li><li>Dependable and hardworking.</li></ul>Job Type: Full-timePay: From AED1,100.00 per month
