The Opportunity: Serve the Urban Italian ExperienceDonatello&rsquo;s The Urban Trattoria is looking for an experienced server with bartending knowledge to join our team in the heart of Downtown Winder. Our concept blends modern Italian cuisine, house-made pasta, handcrafted pizzas, and a vibrant, art-forward atmosphere.We are seeking hospitality professionals who are passionate about guest experience, comfortable in a fast-paced environment, and capable of delivering elevated service. Our servers are not just order takers&mdash;they are ambassadors of the brand and guides to the dining experience.If you thrive in high-energy restaurants and take pride in providing exceptional service, we want to hear from you.Key ResponsibilitiesGuest Experience<ul><li>Warmly greet guests and create a welcoming, energetic dining experience.</li><li>Manage table flow and service within your section while maintaining attention to detail and timing.</li><li>Build rapport with guests and create memorable experiences that encourage repeat visits.</li></ul>Menu &amp; Beverage Knowledge<ul><li>Become an expert on our menu, including ingredients, preparation, and daily specials.</li><li>Provide thoughtful food, wine, and cocktail recommendations.</li><li>Confidently upsell menu items and beverages to enhance the guest experience.</li></ul>Bartending Knowledge<ul><li>Must have working bartending experience and strong familiarity with classic cocktails, wine service, and bar operations.</li><li>Ability to assist behind the bar when needed and confidently discuss cocktail and wine selections with guests.</li></ul>Service &amp; Operations<ul><li>Accurately take and enter orders using our POS system (TOAST).</li><li>Ensure timely delivery of food and beverages while maintaining service standards.</li><li>Handle payments and transactions accurately.</li></ul>Teamwork<ul><li>Assist teammates with running food, bussing tables, and resetting sections when needed.</li><li>Communicate effectively with kitchen and bar staff to maintain smooth service.</li></ul>Compliance<ul><li>Follow all health, safety, and alcohol service regulations (TIPS/ServSafe preferred).</li></ul>QualificationsRequired<ul><li>Bartending experience or strong cocktail knowledge</li><li>Strong communication and guest-service skills</li><li>Ability to multitask and stay organized in a high-volume environment</li><li>Availability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays</li><li>Reliable transportation and consistent attendance</li></ul>Preferred<ul><li>Experience with TOAST or similar POS systems</li><li>Knowledge of Italian cuisine, wine, and culture</li><li>Experience with reservation platforms such as OpenTable or Resy</li></ul>Why Work at Donatello&rsquo;s?We are building something special in Downtown Winder and are looking for team members who want to grow with us.We offer:<ul><li>Competitive hourly pay + strong tip potential</li><li>Flexible scheduling</li><li>Employee dining discounts</li><li>A positive, team-focused work environment</li><li>Opportunities for growth within our expanding restaurant group</li></ul>✨ Ready to join the team?
