Summary: We are seeking a Technical Support Specialistto assist in the Help DeskJob Title: Technical Support Specialist (Full-Time)Location: Albany, NY 12206Target Work Schedule: Monday to Friday 9AM-5PM Target Duration/End Date: March 2028Description of Roles and Responsibilities:&middot; Candidates will provide analysis of data, create and maintain data dictionaries, run and maintain data pipeline processes, map existing databases, perform routine database maintenance as specifically directed, and provide various aspects of general computer support&middot; Additionally, candidates will provide training and support for staff, providers, and consumers&middot; Utilize multiple data sources, assist with the use of variance analysis to validate the data used for Hospital and Long-Term Care (LTC) providers COVID-19 statistics&middot; Maintain and improve contact databases used for COVID-19 ad hoc requests and daily activities&middot; Run and consolidate ad hoc reports used by staff to prioritize COVID-19 survey follow up with providers&middot; Run and maintain data pipelines that feed the Data Lake&middot; Research, create, and maintain documentation on data assets&middot; Work with ITS to ensure software and hardware is installed in a timely manner on employee devices as needed&middot; Data analysis and duties as needed to assist in COVID-19 response and other functions&middot; Train staff on data tools and best practices&middot; Special assignments and projects assignedMandatory/Minimum Qualification, Skills, Experience Requirements:Bachelor's degree preferred. And at least three years of relevant experienceQualification, Skills, Experience Requirements:&middot; Two-year minimum experience working in a professional IT based setting&middot; Experience in effectively communicating with consumers, providers, and staff&middot; Experience creating and maintaining a data dictionary and mapping of existing databases&middot; Experience in SQL, Python, R, or Tableau is a plus&middot; Excellent working knowledge of Microsoft Office (specifically Excel, MS SharePoint, Outlook, Word and Access)&middot; Ability to enter data into, and extract data from, electronic databases&middot; IT customer support and training&middot; Computer installation, diagnosis and repair&middot; Network &amp; standalone printer installation, diagnosis &amp; repair&middot; Basic troubleshooting scanners and other peripheral devices&middot; Microsoft Office Suite troubleshoot / desktop support&middot; Virtual meetings tools including MS Teams, Zoom and WebEx&middot; VPN and remote technical support&middot; Adobe Pro troubleshoot / desktop support&middot; Software (Windows 10/11, MS O365, Adobe) and Hardware (Laptops/Printers/Scanners)&middot; Ability to use office machines including multiphone line&middot; Ability to handle a high volume of work in a fast-paced office environment and to meet deadlines&middot; Ability to organize work and document progress of projects through to completion&middot; Ability to multi-task and adjust priorities as directed by management&middot; Experience working in data systems&middot; Experience with tracking systems&middot; Experience with ticketing systems&middot; Experience with ServiceNow or other ticket or case management software is a plus&middot; Knowledge of basic accounting principles&middot; The ability to work on a team and handle multiple shifting priorities&middot; Good organizational skills&middot; Professional, respectful, provide great customer service with verbal communication and writing ability.
