dormakaba is seeking a Sales Representative remote based. This individual is responsible for creating demand for dormakaba products within targeted vertical markets. The Sales Representative approaches customers consultatively, asking informed questions, probing to identify unspoken needs, and aligning those findings with catered solutions that address customer requirements. 
HIRING SALARY RANGE: Base Salary $83,000 - $95,000 (Salary to be determined by the education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities of the applicant, internal equity, and alignment with market data.) What you will do 
<ul><li>Collaborate with the team to achieve annual sales targets across product lines
</li><li>Create demand for assigned territories
</li><li>Manage and grow market share - 75% of time with existing customers focusing on expanding product mix / 25% of time focusing on new, qualified prospects
</li><li>Establish and strengthen relationships with outside sales teams of aftermarket-focused contract hardware distributors, wholesale channel partners, and low voltage system integrators
</li>Influence owner&rsquo;s standards manuals to increase business and solidify dormakaba product approvals in owner&rsquo;s construction standards. ploy &ldquo;try me&rdquo; samples to influence decision makers through product testing

</li></ul>What we require 
 
 
<ul><li>High school diploma or GED
</li><li>2+ year sales experience
</li>Travel 50% + (within territory)

</li><li>Familiarity with Customer Relationship Management (CRM) software &ndash; Salesforce

dormakaba is seeking an Architectural Sales Representative remote based in the greater Sacramento area. This individual is responsible for effectively promoting dormakaba&rsquo;s entire North American portfolio of products, solutions, and services to architectural firms, design build firms and government architects. This is a sales position.
*This position covers Northern California and Reno, Nevada* 
HIRING SALARY RANGE: Base Salary $85,000 - $100,000 (Salary to be determined by the education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities of the applicant, internal equity, and alignment with market data.) What you will do 
<ul><li>Develop long-term architectural customers by creating relationships that reflect the best interests of the architects&rsquo; clients while also developing relationships with firms&rsquo; lead specification managers
</li><li>Develop short-term and long-term project pipelines to actively pursue with architectural firms
</li><li>Network with architects and industry leaders through local CSI (Construction Specification Institute), AIA (American Institute of Architects), and DHI (Door and Hardware Institute) events as well as other industry networking opportunities
</li><li>Collaborate with local territory team with sales alignment to ensure coverage for completed specifications
</li></ul>What we require 
<ul><li>Associate&rsquo;s degree in construction management, architectural design, engineering, business, or a related field and 3+ years of relevant experience or High School Diploma/GED with 6+ years relevant experience
</li><li>Current CDT (Construction Documents Technologist) and DHC (Door Hardware Consultant) certifications or ability to obtain within 12 months of hire
</li><li>Ability to travel up to 50% + within territory
</li>Excellent communication skills with the ability to collaborate effectively with internal and external customers and stakeholders at varying levels
