<div><div>Dorsey &amp; Whitney LLP is seeking a Real Estate Associate with one to four years of experience to join our Minneapolis office. This associate will have the opportunity to work on a wide array of complex real estate transactions, including acquisitions, dispositions, leasing, development and financing. Specifically, the associate will handle the following types of tasks: 
 
<ul><li>Drafting and negotiating purchase and sale agreements and coordinating closings</li><li>Drafting and negotiating leases and lease amendments</li><li>Drafting and negotiating mortgage loan documents</li><li>Overseeing title and survey reviews and other real estate due diligence </li></ul> 
This associate will join Dorsey&rsquo;s Real Estate Practice Group with attorneys across the U.S. who represent developers, investors, lenders and borrowers, landlords and tenants, property managers, and contractors, as well as corporate users and governmental authorities, in connection with the acquisition, disposition, financing, leasing, property management, operation and development of real estate. 
 
Qualified candidates will have: 
<ul><li>One to four years of commercial real estate experience; </li><li>Excellent communication and writing skills;</li><li>Top academic credentials; and</li><li>Minnesota bar admission</li></ul> 
For Minneapolis applicants only, the salary range for this position is $200,000 - $245,000. Pay is determined based on depth of experience in the practice area. The individual hired for this position may have the option of electing a lower billable-hours track with a proportional reduction in salary. Associates are eligible to participate in Dorsey&rsquo;s associate bonus program, subject to the program&rsquo;s conditions and restrictions.

<div><div>We are seeking a Legal Assistant to join our Trial department in our Salt Lake City office. As a valued team member, you will provide legal administrative support to multiple timekeepers in a fast-paced, client-focused environment. This is a hybrid position based in our downtown Salt Lake City office. 
 
In this role, you will: 
 
<ul><li>Provide legal administrative support to attorneys, serving as a liaison for clients.</li><li>Initiate client/matter openings, including conflicts checks, and engagement letters.</li><li>Proactively review calendars to maintain an overview of attorneys&rsquo; deadlines; anticipate next steps and implement follow-up procedures to ensure deadlines are met.</li><li>Draft, format, proofread, redline and/or edit electronic correspondence, pleadings, discovery, briefs, and other memorandum for accuracy to ensure a high-quality product, from dictation, handwritten, typed, and/or electronic copy.</li><li>File legal documents electronically in both state and federal courts.</li><li>Enter attorneys&rsquo; time, ensure accuracy by proofreading, using spellcheck and appropriate task codes to comply with firm policies. </li><li>Assist with the billing process, including distributing monthly proformas, reviewing and editing proformas, and sending invoices and related correspondence to clients. </li><li>Maintain client files, both electronic and hard copy; file electronic documents promptly and accurately in Outlook and document management system.</li><li>Process and route incoming mail and electronic communications upon receipt as well as prepare outgoing mail (including packages for shipment) for prompt delivery.</li><li>Process reimbursement requests, check requests, and vendor invoices.</li><li>Coordinate attorney meetings and appointments, including scheduling conference rooms.</li><li>Coordinate travel arrangements, including flights, hotels, and rental cars.</li><li>Maintain attorney CLE records, including seminar registration and reporting.</li><li>Delegate administrative tasks to Department Administrative Assistants.</li><li>Provide a high level of customer service to attorneys and clients.</li><li>May be requested to perform other duties as requested.</li></ul> 
What we&rsquo;re looking for: 
 
<ul><li>High School diploma or G.E.D. equivalent.</li><li>At least 4 years of related experience, law firm experience preferred.</li><li>Knowledge and understanding of local and federal court rules and procedures.</li><li>Experience with Federal and State Court filing systems.</li><li>Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office.</li><li>Proficient with Adobe Acrobat.</li><li>Excellent oral and verbal communication skills. </li><li>Attention to detail and accuracy. </li><li>Strong organizational skills. </li><li>Excellent customer/client service focus and skills.</li><li>Ability to coordinate multiple tasks and perform well under pressure to ensure deadlines are met.</li><li>Ability to use good judgment in resolving conflict and working in challenging situations.</li><li>Ability to maintain client and firm confidentiality.</li><li>Positive attitude and ability to work both independently and in a team environment.</li><li>Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills; ability to use independent judgment.</li><li>Thorough understanding of legal terminology and procedures pertinent to the practice area.</li></ul>
