<div><div>Dorsey &amp; Whitney LLP is seeking an associate with at least two years of experience to join the Tax, Trusts, and Estates Practice Group in our brand-new Chicago office&mdash;an extraordinary ground-floor opportunity to become part of the founding team that will shape and rapidly scale up this location.<br>

This is not just another associate role. You will be one of the very first trusts and estates associates in an office we officially opened in November 2025, with aggressive growth plans already under way. From day one, you&rsquo;ll carry significant responsibility serving high-net worth individuals, traditional and nontraditional families, family offices, and family-owned businesses in all areas of estate and tax planning&mdash;all while helping build the culture and reputation of a major international firm&rsquo;s newest platform in one of the country&rsquo;s most dynamic legal markets.<br>

<div>For Illinois applicants only, the salary range for this position is $235,000-$420,000. Pay is determined based on depth of experience in the practice area. The individual hired for this position may have the option of electing a lower billable-hours track with a proportional reduction in salary. Associates are eligible to participate in Dorsey&rsquo;s associate bonus program, subject to the program&rsquo;s conditions and restrictions.</div><div> </div><div>Dorsey offers a collaborative and dynamic environment, with competitive compensation and excellent benefits. First-year associates are also eligible for a salary advance and bar review stipend. (Some benefits are subject to eligibility criteria and may result in taxable income to the recipient.)</div><div><br>
