 <li>
 The financial analysts are the &ldquo;controllers&rdquo; of the properties that DEPM manages. They monitor the financial position of the properties and are in charge of the general ledgers and cash flows for their portfolio. It is their job to produce budgets and analytical review of items in order to produce accurate and meaningful monthly financial reports.
 </li>
 </ul>
 
 
 
 
 
 
 Daily:
 
 
 
 <ul>
 <li>
 Review transaction of their property to ascertain that they are correct and posted properly to general ledger.
 </li>
 <li>
 Review cash balance to determine that property has enough funds to pay their liabilities and bank accounts would not be overdrawn. If necessary, prepare transfers to cover accounts.
 </li>
 <li>
 Approve payables based on cash flow and determine if they are correctly coded to general ledger account.
 </li>
 <li>
 Answer or find answers for financial questions from property manager or board members.
 </li>
 <li>
 Review and approve check requests.
 </li>
 <li>
 Check requests for capital improvement projects should be reviewed to make sure there is not a duplicate payment and that the attached engineer report indicates proper year-to-date payments and application number.
 </li>

 Must have the following
 
 
 Bachelor's degree in accounting, Economics, or Finance or equivalent experience
 
 
 2 - 3 years' financial analysis and modeling experience
 
 
 Advanced knowledge of Excel is a must
