Perform fabrication processes that vary in complexity.</p>
<div>Required Responsibilities:
<br>
<ul><li>Follow all safety and PPE requirements per established company policies.
</li><li>Utilize and maintain established inventory systems, such as Kanban or Vendor Managed Inventory
</li><li>Demonstrated understanding of all established Standard Operating Procedures.
</li><li>Demonstrated ability to read and understand blueprints.
</li><li>Operate basic hand and power tools.
</li><li>Clean and test finished weldments.
</li><li>Operate equipment that is part of the Fabrication department, including but not limited to tapping/pemming machines, deburring machines, saws, etc.
</li><li>Perform basic preventative maintenance on associated equipment.
</li><li>Perform continuous quality checks.
</li><li>Communicate and coordinate part shortages with Supervisors.
</li><li>Maintain a neat and clean work area utilizing company established 6-S program.
</li><li>Contribute proactively to a team oriented, continuous improvement environment.</li></ul></div>
<div>Education Requirements:

<ul><li>A high school diploma or equivalent is preferred.
</li><li>Applicable technical training or experience is preferred.</li></ul></div>
<div>Experience Requirements:
<br>
<ul><li>Blueprint reading skills are preferred.
</li><li>Must possess the ability to apply basic math skills, specifically with fractions and decimals.
</li><li>Must possess strong mechanical aptitude.
</li><li>Equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered.</li></ul></div>

Physical Demands:

While performing the duties of this job, the employee may be exposed to normal office conditions like telephone, personal computer, reports and files. The employee will also be exposed to normal conditions of a manufacturing facility. The employee will be regularly required to talk or hear. The employee will be required to stand for long periods of time. The employee will use his/her hands to finger, handle, or feel objects, tools, or controls and climb or balance and reach with hands and arms. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus. The employee will frequently lift, carry or otherwise move and position objects weighing up to 50 pounds regularly, and occasionally up to 70 pounds. When working on machinery, employee will bend, stoop and crouch on a regular basis and constantly move about to coordinate work. The employee is required to regularly set up, adjust, assemble, control, test and operate machinery.
