</div>About this Role
We have an exciting opportunity for an I&amp;E Technologist to join the Diamond TXO Energy Maintenance team. The candidate will have primary responsibility for assets within Power 8/9, CRW, HPW, and associated utilities. This role will provide maintenance craft specific support in order to maintain and repair a variety of equipment types. The role participates on maintenance team which supports reliability improvement across all Operations facilities and requires full proficiency in a range of technical and operational processes and procedures through job-related training and considerable on the job experience in order to perform a variety of work assignments.
Responsibilities
<ul><li>Enables the people who manage and/or perform work in the field with the tools and information needed to perform their job effectively and efficiently in terms of safety, reliability, quality, and cost</li><li>
Provides technical expertise to plant personnel on troubleshooting failures, repairs, and evaluating whether equipment is designed to meet its intended or existing service conditions</li><li>
Accountable for critical work in assigned areas of responsibility. For critical equipment, ensure that work requests include engineering input on repair details such as clearances, tolerances, materials of construction, welding procedures, etc., and if necessary, provide onsite/offsite technical support for deviations from this data</li><li>
Modifies and/or develops quality maintenance repair/PPM procedures, checklists, and QC plans</li><li>
Modifies and/or develops spare parts lists in SAP.</li><li>
Provides technical expertise in developing job scopes for turnarounds, pit stops, and daily maintenance work</li><li>
Serves as a maintenance focal point for identified jobs in turnarounds, pit stops, and daily maintenance work</li><li>
Follows jobs at External and Internal Shops and ensure that steps in QC plans are being executed and signed off</li><li>
Evaluates condition-based monitoring activities (Vibrations, Oil Sampling Analysis, etc.) and determines appropriate action</li><li>
Participates on Rework team to identify top opportunities, create an equipment improvement plan, and properly escalate the need for funding/budget for the repair/improvements</li><li>
Obtains quotes from 3rd Party Suppliers for repair work that will be needed</li><li>
Enters QSPPs (positive and negative) as needed for our 3rd Party Suppliers</li><li>
Participates in root cause investigations (informal and formal) by providing expertise on failures and repair techniques during the investigations</li></ul> 
Qualifications<ul><li>
A minimum of a High School Diploma or equivalent</li><li>
A minimum of 5 years of instrument/electrical experience in an industrial setting is required</li><li>
Working knowledge of process instrumentation, motors, electrical circuits, and electrical distribution is required</li><li>
Must be willing to work weekends, and holidays, if required</li><li>
Must be willing to work overtime (extra hours beyond your regular scheduled) if required</li><li>
Must have a current, valid US driver's license.</li><li>

Diamond Infrastructure Solutions (&ldquo;Diamond&rdquo;) Public Affairs Internship is designed to give qualifying college students experience within Public Affairs at a newly formed and fast-growing infrastructure-focused business, owned by a global leader and Fortune 100 Company-Dow Chemical.
During the internship, the candidate will lead a project that has direct applicability to Diamond&rsquo;s PA strategy. Projects are designed to be challenging while building on individual interests and passions. Both technical and business degrees will enjoy purposeful work while developing skills such as business acumen, interpersonal skills, time, and project management.
Participant will have a Project Mentor and needed resources to successfully navigate their project. They will be expected to work individually as well as in a team environment for maximum productivity, and will have the opportunity to visit one or several Diamond-owned industrial sites. Participants will regularly interact with professionals of varying levels of positions, tenure, experience, and expertise. Throughout the internship, participants will be given coaching and feedback to grow and develop their skills.
Successful interns will be considered for full-time employment in Diamond&rsquo;s PA or Dow's PA Program post-graduation.
Qualifications<ul><li>
Rising Freshman, Sophomore, Junior or Senior pursuing a bachelor&rsquo;s degree in Public Relations, Communications, Journalism, Advertising, Marketing or a related field. Candidates enrolled in a master&rsquo;s degree program will also be considered.</li><li>
Minimum GPA of 3.000 (4.000 scale) is preferred.</li><li>

About you and this role</h2>
Dow is seeking some new Junior Operators to help support our facility in Arab, AL. The purpose of this job is to operate assigned equipment or areas of the plant and perform operations related activities per the work process. You will utilize process knowledge and experience to operate and troubleshoot the plant in a safe and efficient manner, and work in a team environment where individuals often set priorities and complete work activities. This is a 24-hour operation and will require the ability to work 12-hour shifts during the day and at night on a rotating basis.<h2 class="jobSectionHeader">
